ThreatToKTM originally implemented the Threat-1.0 to KLHTM broadcast. As this as has been rolled into Threat-1.0, ThreatToKTM has been renamed to FuBar_ThreatFu, as it is currently a light-weight front-end to this support.
Features :
- FuBar plugin,
- show KTM master target,
- show party KTM and Threat versions,
- allow to (re)set KTM master target,
- can send KTM version queries,
- provide KTM slash commands for implemented features (e.g. master target and version query),
Thanks Adirelle, I'll give this a shot tomorrow. I can easily verify if the threat is being sent properly or not as I happen to have another computer in the same room I can use for testing this.
I won't address differencies of values between KTM and Threat-1.0, only that Threat-1.0 and KTM share their data. Please report any bug pertaining to Threat-1.0 to the dedicated thread : http://www.wowace.com/forums/index.php?topic=6480.0
Also, please notice that TTK won't send *total* but only increases so you'll have to reset both at the same time to have the same kind of numbers.
Seems very buggy currently, it was just constantly sending data, even out of combat. Showed me as having 5 million threat after about 3-4 mins, everyone using KTM saw this as well.
Was running some heroic instances tonight with ThreatToKTM and there was no errors or anything and no one was complaining my threat values was screwed up. So i guess it works OK atleast. Cannot test in raid until monday, hope that works fine too because most in my guild is hard to convince to use Threat :-/
Great idea, is KTM expecting to get numbers on Version query or could you send "Threat1.0 rxxxxx" as KTM-version?
KTM expects numbers, can't fool it.

I thought KTM always sends something like [KTM]t3000 [KTM]t5783 [KTM]t9345 <-- your total threat, not increases like t3000 t2783 t3562...
KTM does. But TTK was trying to handle resets of KTM and ThreatLib independently by managing internal totals. It turned out that is was too complicated to handle. So I reverted back to sending bare totals, e.g. KISS (Keep It Simple, Stupid) :p
Not that this is helpful since you've made a large change to how the threat updates are sent, but your old method was also causing other GUIs for Threat-1.0 to bug out (I appeared ridiculously high on both Omen on this computer, and KTM on the other computer I was testing with).

One thing I have heard mentioned from people who have run both is that the numbers are slightly different between KTM and Omen/Threat.
Also, please notice that TTK won't send *total* but only increases so you'll have to reset both at the same time to have the same kind of numbers.
Any chance to add this functionality?
However, I'll test it as soon as possible.
KLHTM = Omen/Threat ?
I THINK SO..
edit: oups forget to update
Still untested :/
Half of the work is done, I suppose... :p
That's one way of looking at it I guess ;)
Would be also nice to know which Threat version people use within Omen/Threat btw. - lazy people evrywhere...

I'll give the updated version a shot though.
