Is it possible yet to switch bars depending on whether the target is friendly or hostile? That's really something i miss.
I tried it with macros, but then i need to chance every button when i decide i want to add one in between on one bar and not the other. And the icon on the button doesn't change, so you can't tell the difference from a mind blast and a renew. And the tooltip doesn't work either when i use such a macro.
Please, please, please add 'show when target is friendly' and 'show when target is hostile' options :)
edit: found out about switching the icons, just had to use the question mark icon on the macro for that to work :) Tooltip still doesn't work though.
Does anyone else have trouble getting a 'Major Healthstone' sticking to the button you've assigned it to? At the moment I have to drag it to the button every time I conjure one, which is kind of annoying. I've tried with and without locking content to no avail :/ If anyone knows how to fix it, please let me know where to put in what code :)
Edit: It's not everytime I conjure one, but if I for instance use it, then die and have to run back I need to drag my next one to the button cause else it's just empty. Zoning seems to be the key.
I created a macro to cast Mind Blast when the target is enemy and Renew when it is friendly. However, when i put it in a infinibutton, it doesn't show a tooltip. The button is also grey, as if i can't use it, but it does work. Any ideas on how to solve this? This is the code i used:
#showtooltip [harm] Mind Blast; [help] Renew
/cast [harm] Mind Blast; [help] Renew
I have 2 bars, each with 20 buttons arranged in a box with 4 rows each. Each bar has 2 pages, as well as triggering on stance changes (so, total 4 actionbars per "bar").
I then make another button, with a macro that simply does:
/swapactionbar 1 2
Basically, this new button just toggles between pages 1 and 2 on both bars.
Everytime I use the page switching button, InfiniBar uses up some memory, but never releases it. If I spam the button continuously, InfiniBar will end up sucking memory up to ~1MiB/s (reported by PerformanceFu). The memory is never released until I force a garbage collection.
Also, the page switching is pretty slow, with a noticeable lag when the page switching button is pressed. If I hold down the turn button (A), I should get a smooth turning around. However, if I spam the page switcher meanwhile, the effect becomes very jerky, kind of like a strobe effect.
I believe the problem maybe the when there is a page swop, InfiniBar creates some new objects, plays with them, then deletes them (or deletes what these new objects are replacing). My guess is that the bars are completely recreated when there is a page swap, or at least part of the bars.
While this does not result in a overall memory leak (you can force a garbage collection), it does cause a temporary memory leak in that deleted objects take up memory without being actually useful. Also, this does cause quite a significant performance hit.
Hi i began to use this addon but there is onething i don't like , the color of the fading buttons, that blueish thingy.
can it bet set to look like the regular blizz action buttons, just a little grayed out. And another thing i use rangerecolor to make em red. It would be really cool to see that feature on Infinibars also.
There are three reasons alt-selfcast wouldn't work for you:
1. You have alt paging enabled. Ctrl and shift paging might also prevent alt self-cast from working, but alt paging definitely will.
2. You've somehow changed your self-cast modifier to another key (either shift or ctrl). Enter "/dump GetActionSelfCastKey()" in-game to see what it currently is. If it's not alt, and you want to change it back, do "/script SetActionSelfCastKey("ALT")".
3. You missed a step in adding the modifier self-cast code. (Note that it's not part of the official version of InfiniBar; you need to manually add the code I posted a page or two back.
It's very simple, fast, and easy to use, without a bunch of extras. As lightweight as it is, it still has features I don't want. :)
The only thing I do want, that it doesn't come with, is that Lua syntax highlighting. To get it, you can either download the source, add it yourself, and compile it, or download a pre-compiled (although not the latest) version with Lua support. Maybe this weekend I'll quit being lazy and compile a version of the most recent realease with Lua highighting. Maybe.
I tried Notepad++ and found it a bit clumsy, with more features than I wanted or needed, and I absolutely hate a tabbed/nested document interface for source code. Same with the SciTE mod posted on WoWI, and UltraEdit, and nearly every other text editor people recommend. :P
I've run into a small bug, perhaps someone could let me know if they're aware of a way to fix it.
When I apply the dreamlayout style to the petbar it will apply fine, the buttons look great, and according to the style. The style remains applied until I toggle a pet skill, or use one of the buttons. At that time, the old blizzard borders (which were removed when I applied the style) appear. These borders look terrible, and don't match the rest of my buttons at all.
Sorry if this is already answered, or if im just being blind but is it possible to hide the button border if there isnt anything in it? As if i have a bar for battle/berseker/defensive stance I dont want the excess button borders showing
