Since the most recent update (about 2 hrs ago) TinyTip start acting strangely. I can no longer bring up it's options via the FuBar plugin. I get an error.
Also all of my settings for TinyTip seem to be either gone or ignored. When I mouse over TinyTip in WAU the notes say something about tinytipmodulecore and tinytipmodules. I don't have either of these and I cannot find them. I have tinytipextras and tinytipoptions. Is there something I'm missing here?

Thrae has deleted the old version of TinyTip and transferred his new revision of TinyTip to the Ace SVN. I assume he did it to start developing it here again on the trunk, but until it is back to what you wanted I'd suggest reverting to: http://files.wowace.com/TinyTip/TinyTip-r41188.5.zip
Thanks, I had my suspicions that some sort of change might be happening, but since it is me I'm dealing with and I'm always trying out something new I just never know.
Why oh Why... Branch the working TinyTip or something :(
My thoughts exactly. I reverted. I'm curious to see how Thrae's new TinyTip will work - once these other modules that aren't apparently currently available come about - but I've been extremely happy with my TinyTip setup and want to maintain the status quo.

My sentiments exactly, and I was surprised by the weird behavior. The only thing I've not learned yet is how to find, and go back a version (without always having to zip up the directory every time I run WUA. I'm sure there is a sticky somewhere...

delete the [tinytip] folder in your add ons folder open your recycle bin, right click and restore.

I am a little confused of what you want to know, but if you mean to use WAU and keep your out-of-date copy of TinyTip, simply rightclick it in WAU and set it to ignore. This way WAU will not update it.
I don't have Vista, and I don't have delete to recycle bin turned on (it seems I may want to turn it back on). But Seerah's answer was the one I was looking for. I'm assuming all mods have similar "repositories."
Also have the recent version, that wau install's.Is there any way to get an option menu for that.Because rollback to an older version doesn't contain the TinyTipOptions..... :-(
TinyTip v1.x was a horrible mess. I recoded TinyTip v2 from scratch, and it's far more compatible with other tooltip addons and recent and upcoming patches. The idea of TinyTip v2 is to focus on stability, compatibility, and performance, in that order. It will take a multi-stage approach that will greatly reduce the likelihood of some library even a piece of my own code causing problems in the future
Due to its age, there are already issues with TinyTip v1.x on the PTR, and many complaints of problems with other addons. There are so many things broken about v1.x, and it was coded so poorly, it's far more efficient to just code from scratch. What you see before you is the first step that has satisfied many already.
TinyTipOptions, TinyTipExtras, and TipLib have all been deprecated. TinyTipFu is not my project, so it's up to their author to provide support. I'm working on using Ace3's Configuration libraries with TinyTipModules right now.
Then why are you downloading an addon from a development website where most of its addons are develpment-work-in-progress versions?
Because this website is setup for "devlpment" in /branches, and the WAU client is setup to download stable versions, beta or otherwise, from /trunk. It's an L2SVN thing.
Malkom, grab http://files.wowace.com/TinyTip/TinyTip-r41188.zip and manually replace the /Interface/Addons/TinyTip directory with what's in that zip file. Unfortunately I had to re-setup my preferences, so expect to have to sit down for a bit and do that.

Unless you got Vista, then you gotta download the old version manually.
Only if you have WAU set to "delete before extracting" and "use recycle bin". And the recycle bin doesn't work on Vista, as Buio already mentioned.
I'm very disapointed with the new TinyTip : I can't see the menu in the Rock Menu or in DeuceCommander... And /ttip or /tinytip don't work...
Any idea ??
