Using Bongos AB. I have all my action bars that have spells hidden. I keybind everything so no need to see the buttons and with a CoolDown addon, there is zero need to see buttons at all.
Anyhow, with bongos action bars hidden, if a skill is used with a cooldown on a hidden bar, oCD doesn't pick it up. If a cooldown is ticking down and I make my action bars visible, oCD sees the cooldown, adds the skill to the oCD bar with the correct duration left on the cooldown.
Quick work-around: you could un-hide your Bongos bars and set the transparency to 0. :)
Hmm, I had a similar experice when using DAB and having all the buttons hidden, things woudn't be picked up. When there was Bartender support it worked fine. Thanks for the work.

That worked, sort of. In my UI, I have all my buttons except my consumables bar. I don't make special room for my spell action bars, of which I have 50 buttons. By making them transparent instead of toggling them off, oCB does indeed work. An unfortunate result is, with transparent buttons, they still accept clicks from the mouse and have caused problems for me. Clicking where the transparent buttons and trying to perform actions when I didn't intend.
I currently use coolDowns which is on the SVN and also on curse. It works without issue when my bongos AB are toggled off. Perhaps looking at coolDown could help find a permanent work around for this in oCB?

coolDowns does scanning, oCD doesn't.

Q & A
Q: What actionbars does this add on work with?
A: It currently works with: Bongos, DAB and Blizzard.
Had problems with oCD not picking up skills from bar 1 with Bartender2, adding
["Bar1"] = BlizzardAction
to the table on line 143 of hooks.lua solved it.
This is probably a horrible, horrible thing to do and yes, I'm aware that BT2 is not supported, but it seems to work fine for me now.
I'm using Bongos, it seems that all my macroed spells won't work w/ oCD. So my logic is oCD counts the cooldown timer from action bars. I also hear it doesn't work on some other action bar mods like previous posts. Is there any way around you can track cooldown ... like from Spell Book instead? I'm playing a mage, I'm using this mod and it shows every mage spell cooldown. http://ui.worldofwar.net/ui.php?id=2864 so my assumption is that there should be another way to track our spell cooldown.
Forgive me, I'm not a programmer this is just my logic.
I'm not sure exactly how oCD works, but I assume you could just put all your macro'd spells on an invisible action bar and then oCD should catch the cooldowns for them. This is pretty easy to do with Bongos.
I gave oCD another try using Bartender 2 and experienced the following issue as a Hunter:
Feign Death: oCD Cooldown bar appeared.
Ice Trap: oCD Cooldown bar appeared.
Flare: oCD Cooldown bar appeared.
Aimed Shot: oCD Cooldown bar did not appear.
Multi-Shot: oCD Cooldown bar did not appear.
Volley: oCD Cooldown bar did not appear.
Deterrence: oCD Cooldown bar did not appear. Here's something odd: When I dropped a Frost Trap after using Deterrence (Deterrence is cooling down), the oCD bar for it did appear unexpectedly. As expected, the other 3 traps oCDbars also appeared. Seems odd that Deterrence is linked to Traps.
There seems to be some issue with these specific skills. Not sure what it is but I would greatly appreciate if it was looked in to, or if any other Hunters had the same experience. The min for cooldown shown is 1.5 as per default, max is 600 as per default. If oCD didn't work with Bartender 2, why are some skills working but not others?

are all the skills that don't work on bar 1? because mine work for bar 2 and i think 3 but not bar 1.

Seems that is precisely it. Swapped the Bar1 skills that didn't work to Bar 2... they worked. When done in the reverse, they stopped working. Thanks.
should do the trick though - Obviously that would trigger bars for all pots that share cooldowns, which kindda sucks - and stuff like Hearthstone aswell.
Any chance of a scaling option?

If yes, where can I get it? The link in the first post doesn't seem to work.

Edit: I comitted Nurfed support to SVN, enjoy (hope that was alright)
