Everything inside this addons OnEnable is almost a direct copy of DoubleWide except for some sizes being different and some ;'s and ()'s being removed. Even the variable names are exactly the same. And for anybody doubting me because its not 'exactly' the same, every single line from DoubleWide is in WideQuestLog in the EXACT same order. Even for code this small it would be impossible for two people to write it exactly the same way with the exact same variable names.
Don't worry now we get to find and have fun with the beql author since it seems hes the one that copied DoubleWide and then WideQuestLog copied part of beql.
The source comes as plain text... it must be open source...
Reminds me of people taking over other peoples addons without even trying to ask them before...
indeed, one must keep up with the bleeding edge of two column quest log technologies.
TBH, I am unsure whether to cry or laugh with this thread. I must admit, my worldmap addon started as a slightly modded version of tek's MapEnhancer (if you want, tek, I'll gladly provide a link to check it :)) In my defense, I did ask Tek in pm if it was ok. .. My minimap addon, still very much resembles oMinimap, but it's a WIP, things get ripped out, shoved in - go poop on me and get ripped out again... Meh, you get the idea. Haste has copyright thingies on his stuff, that allow modified versions - but the name has to change etc.
It is derived from beql code.
It can be download from http://files.wowace.com/WideQuestLog/WideQuestLog-r60127.zip
Feel free to make any comment or bug report here.
Thanks lyly!
"Whoa! A double-panel questlog that's aced! I'm going to download it blindly even though DoubleWide does the same and it does not require nothing"
Yea, let me rephrase my question since it was just ignored.
What does this provide that DoubleWide does not?

mmmm bacon
QFT.. Seriously, the libs in this case may make it heavier than without libs >.<
Well obviously this is way better, since he can update it through WAU whenever it needs to be changed...
I use the default tracker. Push all you want, I'll never see need for anything more complicated.
