Just to clarify, this basicly means you're abandoning the 1.0 WoW stuff and are just coding/debugging/ect for 2.0? Perfectly understandable and no complaints, I'm just curious.
Yes, because 2.0 is at most two weeks away, so it wouldn't really be worthwhile to continue with the 1.12 version. On that note, the 2.0 version is already has quite a few more features, including adding/deleting buttons.

when switching totems the right click menu doesn't go away until you click on something other than henge... usually this results in me clearing my target...
can the menu go away when something is selected?
is it possible to drop a totem from the menu without having to right click, select a totem, click off on the world frame, then click the totem henge button?
I love the concept so far
Yes, I do intend to make the menu close on selection.
hm, when using trunk version a locked down sphere can't be moved anymore because of the rather strange self:GetOpt() (in branch version you fixed this by using the correct syntax like if self.db.profile.locked then bla end ;) ).
However, the branched version doesn't show (in 1.12 clinet) health because in the dewdrop menu the two radio buttons: health and none are both set.
Will test it in TBC, though.
I really like the design and concept. I'm absolutely waiting for this addon becoming ready :)
Earth set up to work with all good earth totems, water for most good totems, fire for all useful totems, and air has Windfury WEAPON instead of totem.
Can't seem to unlock the mod now. I locked it and it won't move/unlock via click menu or /henge command.
I fixed the windfury totem/weapon issue, and have attached the TotemHenge.lua file responsible. (Not sure how changes should be submitted. Please note that this is the class module file, and should be appropriately placed in the path (Addons/Henge/Modules/TotemHenge/TotemHenge.lua)).
I fixed the locking issue too, but that was a quick, insecure and inelegant hack, as the 2.0 version usable Tuesday fixes that.
Edit: Added the fix to the 2.0 version. The file will need to be renamed (remove the -2.0).
Don't worry, the issues listed here are fixed, I'm just not quite ready to commit it to the SVN, as I've been doing a lot of major work to support button menus through the new SecureStateHeader code in WoW 2.0. So far it's been pretty rough (my god Blizzard chose the most convoluted way imaginable to handle that stuff), but it's coming along and a rough version will definitely be ready by Tuesday. On that note, I've reworked a lot of the core code to simply what I could, and to support some nice features in the future. Notably, the adding/removing buttons has been temporarily removed, I'll be trying to make it as a separate module later on, but for now debugging that was taking up far too much time. I hope to have some things like re-anchoring the buttons ready for the patch, but I'm not sure. Also, I'd like some suggestions on how button menus should be laid out (aka, should they be in a line or circled around the menu button, etc). I'm also really hoping to have a basic keybinding system in place, which will allow for things like "<Alt>-R = open button menu 1 -> 1-9 activate the buttons in the menu, but only if it's open". And thanks to everyone for their comments, I really appreciate input from people on making Henge the best it can be.
yesterday i tried out your addon, as it sounded promising.
i only see the sphere with my health in the middle, but i don't see any buttons.
i have a shaman and a rogue and the addon is called "totemhenge" and "stealthhenge" as intended, but i don' see any buttons and i can't add any (don't know how).
Many pallys in my guild are pretty happy-pants over this being a replacement for the memory-intense HolyHope. I downloaded it and tried to get some buttons working, but to no avail. Just wanted to post with words of encouragement as to cool a mod like this is! Thanks for your hard work!
i just logged in with my shaman and........ THE BUTTONS WERE VISIBLE!!!!! joy! /applaud
only 2 of the weapon buff buttons didn't have a graphic (windfury and another one - can't remember).
i have a suggestion:
you have 4 buttons (1 for each element). if you leftclick on one of these buttons, the default spell is being cast (i.e. stoneskin totem).
if you want to cast another totem than the default one, just rightclick on the menu and leftclick on the totem you want to cast.
if you want another totem to be the default one, rightclick on the menu and rightclick on the totem you want to be default. then the icon (graphic) of the default spell changes and this is your new default spell.
this is the way i handled it before (with flexbar) and it was really cool to be able to define some default totems and be able to cast them without having to open every menu of each element.
Great mod, love the potential it has. On my shaman everything looks pretty good, but I would like to suggest that water shield, and even earth shield be added to a sub-menu of the lightning shield button. Also under water totems, mana tide shows up even when not specced for it. Although it will only show a blank circle with the words mana tide when moused over.
I'm new here but this addon has me excited enough to register just so I can ask a question or two...
I'm noticing that people are mentioning having to make adjustments to the lua files. Are these corrections (to a marvelous yet still work-in-progress addon) or do you have to tie the addon to a particular class? I have 3 (almost 4) characters at 60 and would love to use this addon with each of them.
Again, many thanks for producing this beautiful work.
