I'm at a loss for a creative name that will accurately and succinctly describe what this does. There is already DruidBar, SimpleDruidBar, DruidMana/SoleManaX.
The Ace mod community makes a lot of unique, creative names, often with subtle allusions to the original non-Ace mod, and often with a pun. But I just can't think of one that would clearly say: This is for druid mana.
FeralMana, FeralFormMana, FFMana, CatMana, BearMana, CatBearMana, CatManaDu (Katmandu, which has nothing to do with anything :X), FurryMana, um...all of the previous but with Bar instead of Mana, except not CatBarDu as that makes absolutely no sense...
DBar (hey its boring!)...
I kind of like the idea of FurryBar...even if it brings to mind Furries sitting around and drinking.
Thanks for all your suggestions for a new name. I'll rename the addon to SmartyCat :)
I also plan on splitting the core code and the code for the bar frame into two different addons so once that is done I'll re release the addon with the new name.
An embedded library to have inside addons like Ace libs are currently, or a mobhealth approach where you have a standalone addon that kinda acts as a plugin library for other addons.
The downside to the embedded library would be that everyone using for example ag_UnitFrames will have the code loaded even if they're not druids. Perhaps the standalone addon that acts like a plugin is the best.
But then again, I am not really a master of code design. You should hop on to IRC and ask out ckk or vharr... These guys know what they're doing :P

Would like to suggest having the word "Druid" in your file description, I was not able to find the mod till I read this thread; that was the keyword I was searching for.
Suggestion to moderators, can this thread be renamed to "SmartyCat (was AceDruidBar)"?
For your consideration. Thank you.
Personally I would have kept "Druid" in the name; eg DruidManaBar, Darravis_DruidBar, da_DruidBar, d_DruidManaBar, etc

I like the idea of a standalone, unloaded mod so you can just do it in character settings.
I can't find any documentation, and I can't check it myself, but I was wondering if Judgement of Wisdom procs in forms and gives mana. It has some slight relevance I suppose to the bar.
I was wondering if you could add transparency options to it ( unless you've added it and I haven't checked and I should shoot myself for not noticing ), as well as the option to click through it.
The name FeralBar came to mind, but the word Feral is kind of overused these days. Still doable.
SmartBar also comes to mind, but I sort of agree with the mention of druid. A pity DruidBar is taken haha
I don't think any effects that effect mana can occur while in cat / bear form. Things like mana drain don't work, so it would follow that Judgement of Wisdom wouldn't work either.
You should be able to just right click the bar to see it's options. It's been a little while since I've looked, so if there isn't an option for lock/unlock, then try holding alt or other modifiers when dragging with combinations of both right and left click.

Will this be supported in ag_uf soon, andreas?
I second :)
Third! :)
Edit: SmartyCat. ;)

Thanks it works =)

Also, how about Scatmanadu.
I also would like to echo the idea of having 'Druid' somewhere in the name.
Additionally, being able to turn off/hide the text would be nice. ^_^

When I shift into cat oder dire bear form (from caster form) I get the error message (shorted):
SmartyCat.lua\122: attempt to index a nil value.
Shifting back into caster form or shifting into travelform does work correctly.
Any hints?
