With the most recent release of SorrenTimers I get the following error on log on (which causes the mod to not work at all):
Interface\Addons\SorrenTimers\SorrenTimers.lua:100:AceAddon:AceOO-2.0:Library "Parser 3.0" does not exist.
Looking inside the zip file, they changed the .toc file to go with x-embeds but for some reason there's no embeds.xml file included. I don't think I have the problem since I use non embedded libraries. Hope that helps and someone adds the file to the zip or if you feel up to it add it yourself, just use any other addon that uses x-embeds as a basis to make up your own.
By the way if someone with access to commit could make the changes listed below, a while back someone posted a change to SorrenTimers.lua and I'm sorry to say lost the link so can't give credit for the fix, with my rogue on BG's where enemies die rather fast and the bars don't actually get to reset and throws some errors and the timers will stay up until the next time you use that skill and get the bar moving again. to make it short the code change is at line 624 if you can change it to read from:
if self.bars[barname] then
self.units[self.bars[barname] ][self.bars[barname] ] = nil;
if not next(self.units[self.bars[barname] ]) then
change it to:
if self.bars[barname] and self.bars[barname] then
if self.units[self.bars[barname]] and self.units[self.bars[barname]][self.bars[barname]] then
self.units[self.bars[barname]][self.bars[barname]] = nil;
if self.units[self.bars[barname] ] and not next(self.units[self.bars[barname] ]) then
so the bars go away and won't throw any errors, thanks.
When I first did it it was in alphabetical order and it got upset about PaintChips and colour formats, but I noticed it mentioned CandyBar in the error so I tried moving PaintChips before it in the load order and it worked.
A final change I had to make was to open the .toc file in a text editor and add embeds.xml to the top of the list of files (line underneath ## Version)
Little fiddly but it all seems to be working again :P Thanks again for your help.
Ellarine - So I would create a file called "Embeds.xml", paste that into it, and then put that in the SorrenTimers folder? I noticed that there are sub-folders in the Addon's Library folder including, for example, Parser-3, which is the one causing my error.
That is what I did yes (remember to add embeds.xml to your .toc as well), and it seems to be working. Also remember it can tell the difference between Embeds and embeds - its case sensitive. Either is fine long as you use the same name for the file as in the .toc far as I know.
(1) Created a file called "embeds.xml";
(2) Pasted the above code into embeds.xml;
(3) Saved the file in the SorrenTimers Addon folder; and
(4) Added "embeds.xml" to the files listed in the .toc file (in the actual list at the bottom, not in the comments at the top).
After taking these steps, I still get the same error posted above... And I notice the author continues to update the mod without addressing this issue.
Any further advice/help would be greatly appreciated.
