Hi everyone,

sorry for posting this here, but i know this is the best addon community (i have been actively reading for a year, but not much posting :)) and one of you might now what is wrong with my chat links.

i have made a few searches before i posted too, but no luck, cant find an answer.

so here it is:

since last week, i have had a few people message me when i post links in trade channel asking me for what i just linked since it did not link correctly. They say that when i link in trade, instead of showing an actual link it shows numbers with the name (from what i understand, itemIDxxxx_NameOfTheItem).

If i link them directly, it shows fine, in party or guild as well.

which mod would modify those links? (i have way too many mods, and they are all updated with WAU, so i have a hard time figuring out which one it could be)

Yes, it's Prat. And imho this feature should not be enabled by default.

yep, i figured it was prat after playing around with a few things. It was exactly that Channel Link option, and it really should not be enabled by default imo.

I dont think this is resolved. You figured out what mod was doing it, and disabled the option, but I do not think prat is supposed to send clink strings to trade channel, since you can link items in trade. Maybe report this to the prat thread?
