Hi first i want to let u know i love the addon =), next i would like to know if anyone else is having a problem with the bar i click on the consumables button but nothing happens; its as if the functionality is gone!?.
anyone else having this problem???
really kills me that every time theres a great add on that makes life a little easier for us wow users come patch time Blizzard sees fit to break it...
i will keep checking back again to see if this issue is resolved.
Thank you for updating this mod trough all of blizzards ineptitude and patches Toadkiller.
Just to elaborate, I'm having the same problem as Malta and everyone else. The strange thing is that there are no error messages and no weird behavior other than the item just not being used. The bars pop out as expected, mounts switch to the "active" one, etc., but the item does not actually get used.
I've also found it's not working. The regular version seems to show everything, but selecting items does not cause anything to happen (no error messages). I tried the alpha software, and that only showed one bar for fishing items, and even that single bar did not work.
Autobar is my favorite add-on, and I'm hoping you can fix it quickly! Thanks for the great work that you do. :)
I've encountered the same problem as the others. I should note, though, that on my druid and shaman characters, the shapeshift button on the bar does work. I can go in and out of ghost wolf by clicking the autobar button. None of the others work though.
The action buttons were optimized a bit for 2.2, and ActionButton_Update() is no longer automatically called in OnUpdate. If you have an action bar mod using state headers, you may want to call the new ActionButton_UpdateAction() from your button's OnUpdate.
Saw that and figured it might be related to what was going on.
I've been fiddling with this for about 2 hours now and I can't see any reason why it shouldn't be working. Addons like EngBags and FlexBar2 have no problem making buttons on the fly to activate (use) items. (I haven't updated EngBags, yet, and I can still use items from its interface.)
Good thinking. Sadly AutoBar is specifically not an action bar (One that uses the 1 - 120 or something actions that regular Blizz bars show). Instead it has to fake similar actions via the Secure templates etc. & do all updating itself. Various factors make this probably the most complex state machine for a bar + popup mod there is.
Meanwhile, back at the Ranch, I am laboriously retracing the garden path that leads to the convoluted state machine that makes an AutoBar button sort of work.
