I don't dare to delete my whole WTF folder to be honest (afraid of setting up all addons again to work and look as I am used to). But I might give it a try, just to prove if this might work to run eePanel properly.
So, ok, i deleted the complete WTF folder, and I deleted the Cache folder too.
I logged in, no error. Then, I created a new panel.. /console reloadui and what's the result? I've got a error! :(
That suggested using the text-entry fields for setting up your panels (size, position), rather than using drag-n-drop. I tried it, and my panels still vanished, but after a 2nd reload, they came back and have been working ever since. odd.

Hmm, I have never used the drag-n-drop feature. Maybe thats why mine work? I used text entry. I didnt realize there was a drag and drop feature till after I configured it.
Looks like in my case there's another UI conflict.
As i posted before, nuking the WTF folder and doing an almost-virgin UI with only epanels worked fine...i could exit the game, re-enter with no errors and my panels intact.
I added my other add-ons and got the error again, same as above.
Grumble..
(BTW i also used text entry for my panels)

I deleted all my addons and added them 1 by 1 to narrow down which was causing it, and in the process realized almost all of them were out of date since i get them from wowinterface or wowui instead of this site. I've now added all of them and now eepanels is working again. Sorry i couldn't help track down what the conflict is.
yeah that works.
and i didnt even delete my wtf folder. just select another profile from eepanels menu.there r other profiles that starts with ur server name etc and start creating ur panels do not move them with mouse. be sure its locked.
When i create a panel and logout the panel just disappears. I do not want to remove all the addons and install eepanels first. Can anyone tell me what is the problem, i did try choosing all profiles still the same problem.

Are you using Bongos as well? One user at ui.worldofwar.net said he found Bongos was causing eePanels to disappear, and I use Bongos and have seen this as well. I can't confirm it's a Bongos conflict issue, only that I've also had it occur.

This solution worked great for me and my friends! Thanks!
i can confirm that the "manual positioning" works and "drag&drop" doesn't get saved through sessions...
however i start to believe it's not only eepanels. might aswell be an ace2 library problem? because i try to set different fubar profiles 'n stuff and they get reseted too whenever i relog.

One thing of note with the current patch. If you change your profile for, using myself as an example: >> Profile: Shadow Council - Horde << The panels seem to stay. I'm going to try to take the old settings I had and merge them into the new profile settings and see what happens. I also did not delete my WTF settings. Good Luck and I hope this helps.
Ok, I deleted my Addon and WTF folder, built up a complete new interface, used (apart from a few) almost the same addons as before, added some new and see... it works. No error messages. Just working as intended.
Greetings!

*need eePanels*
My eePanels was working fine after the patches. My wife's wasn't. Blah, blah, nothing worked.
Then, with 2.0.4, mine eePanels disappeared and had the same behavior described. Could set them up, but they disappeared after reload.
Now, on the WoW UI forums, there is this thread:

They stay now after a wow restart

But i dont think its because of Bongos since i still use the old version of Bongos ver.6.12.14, and this was no problem before the patch.
So i think its in the patch or the new 2.0.4 patch that is the problem.

this is annoying...
Just wondering the same. He hasn't posted or updated eePanels in almost two weeks.
