No matter if I will use your addon in the future or not, I definitely will give it a try.
This addon is currently aimed at druids, priests, mages and raid leaders. It has support for paladins (group by class etc.) but it is not really suited to them.
The first post-release feature will be integration with PallyPower. The reason for it's post-release status is that I've never raided with a pally and so I'm not sure how to best do it. The pallies in my guild are going to use this for a while and then come up with the best way to integrate this with PallyPower.
It would be really nice if you could do something like incubator. Setting a minimum time to display or something like that. So that you set it to 4 min then you will only see buffs that will expire in the next 4 mins.
I really like the idea of Laric, when I am responsible for the buffs I really wish I could have an addon showing me the remaining time before my buffs fade, displaying every buffs everytime would definitly not fit on my screen since I already consider I have too much things on it xD
I could be wrong, but I'm fairly certain that this addon is implemented by basically creating a set of raid frames so that they can be clicked for casting - which means buffs under a certain duration remaining could be highlighted, for example, but none could be left out to save screen space.
What if you could summarize things by comparing party members buff times to each other, and if they are equal (or within 1 minute of each other) then just display 1 bar. Or maybe if 3 or more people in the same group have the same time, then display a summary bar, but still display the people who are not equal.
What I'd like to see is a "minimal" version.
It contains 3 bars per buff you can cast.
1 bar showing the "average" remaining duration of the Buff in your raid/group.
1 bar showing the percentage of your raid/party which have the buff. Full = all awesome.
1 bar showing the shortest remaining timer which is not 0 (next buff to run out, including on which person/group that is). Color depends on whether it shows a single-target duration or a group-buff duration.
Clicking on Bar #1 starts recasting group-buffs on your entire group/raid. Right click opens a menu in which you can set which groups to include in the buffing.
Clicking on Bar #2 casts a single-target Buff on all players missing the buff, one after the other. Right-click casts groupbuffs on their respective groups (some code needed to make sure that if say 2 people in G4 miss the buff, it doesn't get cast twice).
Clicking on Bar #3 puts a line into /ra or /p that you want to rebuff, people should come close and give you a second. Right-clicking opens a menu over which you can choose to which output to report the buffstatus (%age buffed, # missing, average remaining time).
