One thing I've noticed and don't seem able to change (without doing it for each item)... I wanted Soulbound items in one bar (say bar 15) and non soulbound in another bar (say bar 14). However they all take the fact they are equipment and group into bar 15. Without specifying each and every BoE item needs to be in bar 14 they all seem to go into bar 15. I have an alt who is an enchanter so I send all BoE items to him to d/e or to other alts who can use them. Please help. I'm sure it's just me missing a setting or something stupid like that.
Thanks. :D
Final thing that bugs me is the amount of space around and between bars - please give us the option of changing it. ;-)
this is done in 1.31 (not uploaded yet), there is now an option to set the spacing for the following;
space between window edge and bar
space between bars (this already existed)
space between bar and item
working on anchor points but playing BC so updates will be a slower

um, i think it's you ;) there are two main categories for equipment, soulbound and non-soulbound. boe's should always end up in the non-soulbound category (so long as they're still using their default and haven't been forcibly categorised) - at least thats how i have mine setup, soulbound in one bar and non-soulbound in another.
Just one quick question: I have set up custom categories and have added equipment to them for ease of banking and sorting (healing, feral dps, feral tanking). It seems that every time I use the Ace updater to update to the current version it looses my custom setting for items.
maybe, had a quick look and PT3 so far seems to be mostly armour/weapon sets and AI only really needs trade goods, misc and reagent items categorised
the problem is that i have pt1,pt2 and pt3 installed... and all do the same.. but pt3 have the most items ... so it would be great if i can kick version 1 and 2
I apologize if this has been asked but I only read the last 3 pages so not sure...
any reason why ArkInv doesn't display a cooldown on items when I use OmniCC? OmniCC seems to work with pretty much every bag, actionbar or character frame mod I have used except ArkInv.
I've been using and enjoying AI for a couple of weeks now (coming out of Engbags/EngInventory). Thanks for writing such a useful tool!
Is it possible to sort items more finely, either within their blocks or outside? For example, I'd like my Armor block to put all the helms together, all the boots, etc. Even better if I could move them into another block, but that's not as important as just keeping similar items together.
Weird little problem here. When I loot a BOE green in outlands it seems to put the item in "unknown category 0" or something like that. Underneath this on the edit menu is listed its default category which I can't remember atm but it was the correct one I believe. When I edit the category and change it to default it goes where I want it BUT next time I load the game it has forgotten this info and is back where it started. Also the item is in the middle of the slots not organized nicely.

some outland items have a negative value in the itemlink (terocone used to do it for me), no item has ever had a negative value before and the pattern matching i (and i think everyone else) use never allowed for the negative sign (%d is just numbers), i've changed all the patterns to allow for a negative sign in 1.31 and it appears to be working properly again in that version.

I've also been noticing this. I don't know but I think AI may be doing something funky with the built in Blizzard cooldown display functions because it's not even getting the little pie timer over my items that are on cooldown. OmniCC used to work fine with AI about 6-7 versions ago but hasn't done so since then.
Getting the following error message from various items when howering my mouse over bank bag when it's in "offline" mode. Also, the tooltip doesn't show.
[2007/01/25 11:48:57-1944-x6]: Usage: GameTooltip:SetHyperlink(link):
<in C code>: ?
<in C code>: in function `SetHyperlink'
ArkInventory\ArkInventory.lua:2982: in function `ItemButton_OnEnter'
<string>:"ARKINV_MainFrame2Container-1Item7:OnEnter":2: in function <[string "ARKINV_MainFrame2Container-1Item7:OnEnter"]:1>
Works fine when I'm actually at the bank and it's "online".
Edit: I don't seem to be able to link stuff from "offline" mode to chat either.
It was me. Deleted the saved variable and most BoE go to the BoE section now. Several stay in the same main section I use for my BoP amongst other items. Hoping that's what you addressed with the negative value issue so I'll delete the saved variables again and try again :D
One small request. Any chance of providing an option for this _not_ to replace the default character bags/bank bag display? Have the regular bags open as normal if the option is selected, but still have it save the character's bags & bank info, as well as offline characters as it currently does?
Wmrojer's Character Info was my preferred offline inventory mod. Until the author left WoW and the last build of the mod stopped recording items properly (and w/o errors) after WoW 2.x. Attempted going back to CharactersViewer; its incredibly buggy and basically unusable here (taints the pet bar frame, it throws up tons of tooltip errors after every version update, etc.). I really like ArkInventory, except for the fact it replaces the default bags, where you want it to or not.
Many people are better able to process/remember (as well as prefer) inventory in individual bags as opposed to a single bag. So having an option not to replace the default individual bags would make this a worthy successor to Character Info.
Zidomo: One way I have found to get around this for the time being is just to use "/ai standby". This disables ArkInventory and allows you to open your bags normally. When you're done, you can do "/ai standby" again to re-enable it.

i'm not sure i understand, couldn't you just disable the option to hide the blizzard frames, that way you get the original bag/bank frames back?

i hid the cooldown frame at one point to see if that would fix something, forgot to show it again thats why its not working. fixed it in 1.31

Keep up the good work.
