the new "hide armor" option (or whatever is is called, sorry can't recall right now), seems to be breaking bonuses. it not only hides armor i can't use, but no tooltip at all is showing up for armor/weapons i can use. disabling the option fixes it. was this feature meant to be included yet, as i don't see anything about it in the patch notes.
Sharky: I'm not using ItemBonusLib anymore, thought I had deleted it. Woops.
jw:Thats what it was supposed to do, though it shouldn't be hiding weapons too. I'll add in another option to simply remove the bonus comparison for stuff you cant use, rather than removing the tooltip altogether.
Best equipment comparing mod to date, however, could we get a modifier to toggle it? I liked EQCompare because I could hide tips when I didn't need to compare items and use [ctrl] to show the comparison tip when needed.
That's all well and good, but I'm looking for something that will hide the extra tooltip all the time unless I'm holding [ctrl] when I mouse over it. There's no point in me comparing my tanking gear to my dps gear when they're different for a reason, know what I mean?
For example; if a plate item drops in an instance I can [ctrl]+[mouse-over] to cmpare it, but while looking in my bags, it won't compare the items to what I'm wearing because I don't need it to.
A toggle that is optional is great idea.. I'm a 1 sided raiding class, so really don't have that many sets of armor.
A toggle is a little bit under powered tho for your needs imo. I think integrating with Closetgnome would be the coolness. I.e. If you mouse over a chest piece, show the chestpiece you are wearing, but also show the chestpiece from your inventory that is from a closetgnome set. That way you don't have to change out your gear to compare...
Also, If you could do the other related calculations it would be nice.
For example, something that has a ton of int, might provide more Crit than a crit item....
im having an issue with items that have two different types of +dmg on them.. like the new tailoring set pieces.. im a warlock so i only look at fire and shadow.. but the spellfire pieces that have arcane and fire together are being calculated together
im also getting tooltip overlapping issues.. im not sure if its because im using EQCompare or not. it only does it when i click to view items from the chat.. comparing items from any other source is fine.. ss below
Request: can you add hover tips too? This is the only feature I miss (used EQCompare and tekKompare too...)
mod: oops, I miss the ToDo-list... :) Question: when I deleted the Libs folder (I'm using Standalone Libs), Bonuses missed ItemBonusesLib, although it was there.
