Well, I attempted to find my answer in the 29 pages of threads but I didn't read them all. I can't devote that kind of time. I did searches but found nothing. So here's my issue:
I really like using detox over the normal decursive but i'm having the trouble that when i click to dispell using detox, it deselects my current target. I use perl classic unit frames and use the PCUF Target, ToT, and ToToT. I would really like to get Detox working such that it doesn't deselect my target. It's really so much better than decursive.
i like the priority system, but have 2 remarks:
*missing an easy way to clear the entire priority list
*missing an add current target
These two options should be easy to add - if anyone wants to commit the change to the SVN, go ahead.
With the latest version (Detox-r14598) once I lock the live list I cannot find a way to unlock it. Any suggestions?
How were you able to lock it? I removed that option (provided by Dewdrop library) by purpose, as units on the locked list arent clickable, which therefor caused lots of confusion. Probably its best to delete the Detox-related saved variables.
got this yesterday
all keybindings react with the same error, even clicking on summon dreadsted in necrosis gives me this error.
This seems to be a bug in SpellStatusLib. Did you try to download SpellStatusLib to get the latest version to see if it's fixed yet? If it's still there, you might want to post this bug in the library forum.
Is this addon still being developed?
Anyway...I still can't see a feature to only dispel magic or cure disease (as an example). It's possible in Decursive...
Sounds like a simple feature to add and in fights like Chromaggus it's kindof a must sometimes. :/
I stopped active development of this addon, and even if TBC was pushed back I prefer to focus on projects that will still be around in WoW 2.0. As Detox is based on Decursive 1.9.8.3 and this feature was added in 1.9.8.4, it's not in yet. But as mentioned above, if anyone can provide the necessary code to add that option, feel free to commit it (if you can confirm its working properly).

Some people have mentioned this problem, and all of my attempts to track it down failed as not enough people reported all relevant details. If you read back like 3 or 4 pages, you'll see that I've been *begging* for proper bugreports. I've not seen enough. So if people don't even manage to report a reproducable bug, there's not much I can do (as I don't have access to any other lvl60 than a priest).

I'd be happy to help in any way I can but I should mention that my character is also a priest. I have a 60 human priest and use Perl Classic Unit Frames rather than the standard WoW frames. I noticed, however, that you mentioned that development has been halted so do you really want the debug information at this point?
I haven't yet checked back a couple pages (I will) but I assume you outline the proper way to capture the debug information - am I correct?

To really track down the problem I guess I'd a few people of each class posting their results - as its working for most of the people but not all there has to be something that makes them different. Unfortunately the people who're successfully using Detox don't seem to care to post, and not too many people with that problem posted reliable reports.
But you're right with something - development has halted. Which doesnt mean that if someone tracks down the bug, I have no problem editing a line or two. I just don't want to add new features.
Here is the only debug information listed. I initially had our main tank selected, Detox popped up with ice bolt on another raid member, i clicked it, it deselected the main tank and didn't restore that target. This is an image of the debug info. The down arrow is glowing blue but that's only because there is chat below it. The debug info you have here is all of it for this detox event.

I've downloaded standalone Ace2 when I start getting bugs with AceHooks 2.1 with some addons.
Since I've got ace2 - all mods (and Detox) works fine.
I switched from decursive to detox, but i have a problem, i created a macro with /detox clean text inside, but when launch it, it does not clean nobody, it gives me the hand cursors, as i should target manually the unit i want to decurse.

You can set a keybinding to detox.
Ofc i set up a keybinding, but if i click with binded key or mouse, it always give me hand shaped cursor as if it want me to target manually the unit i want to decurse...that ' s the (big) problem...
ok, a little update on the deselecting of targets when dispelling / decursing.
Originally I had the live list up and manually clicked on the line items on the list to dispell / decurse. That is when I had the issue that it would deselect the target I had. In addition to that, from time to time the window would be bound to the mouse and move everywhere i put the mouse and I couldn't fix it. I had to log in order to stop it from moving. I couldn't even click on the detox button on the minimap / fubar to lock it or anything.
Anyway, the deselecting of targets: this no longer happened when I went into the game key bindings and bound a key to detox. Now I just spam that key when needed and it works fine. I would like to have it "ding" without having the live list up but I can't figure out how to do that.
I was about to ditch detox b/c it was "crap" but when I learned about the spamming of the detox key. This works amazingly well though you might have to set up some priorities / filters. Much faster than decursive, you just have to move away from clicking each thing and just spam the detox key.

I can't reproduce that problem, and due to the lack of additional information there's not much I can do. Besides that, keep in mind Detox is dead, as it won't work in 1.13/2.0, so I won't add any more features.
It has been delayed...
And for those who play on closed beta it's kinda obvious since a lot of the content is far from being complete and they haven't released premades yet.
I never said it wasn't...I just find it silly that people thought it'd be out before Christmas.

more or less, yes.
