It looks like Im going to have to look at xraid and all the other ace raiding addons, it finally seems like the complete package is done and I can switch from CTRA
Awesome work, maia! I was sitting here drinking a cup of coffee browsing the SVN to see what was new and cool, saw this and had to do a little happy dance! I'll be using it immediately and am very excited to see it develop.
*squee* At the rate this is going, the chance of having an entirely Ace2 based set of mods is increasing dramatically! This makes me wish I had enough patience to figure out lua + Ace2 without someone teaching it to me (so I could port some stuff too).
Cheers, though, I look forward to the completion of this!
The minimap icon is provided by an external library that also provides the optional FuBar plugin. I don't think that this library ("FuBar-Plugin-2.0") offers a way to hide the minimap icon (which you're not seeing per default when using FuBar), so until the library itself adds that feature you'll have to manually hide the icon with any addon that will let you move/hide/scale frames (MoveAnything, Visor,...)
So this really is the thing you're most worried about? :)

the FuBar library does have a way to hide the icon without shutting the entire addon down, allthou it seems to have escaped the API documentiation. I'm figureing out how to do it and putting it into Squishy, it shouldn't be *too* hard...
DeuceCommander > tons of FuBar icons, I will find the proper way to hide them all!
Alright, Im working on getting rid of CTRA but Im not sure which addons I'll need.
in raids I play a druid that heals, Im just looking to set my self up with more memory efficent raiding things, Im not sure what to use but Im reading up on it now. I hear a lot about XRaid and PerfectRaid, not sure what they are yet but I will look at it.
I'll gladly give you 3 page rant about what mods are good, why, blah blah but I've been bad about de-railing topics recently. Move it elsewhere :P Keep detox about detox.
Well, SpecialEvents-Aura-2.0 isn't really nice on roster changes, as on each change it will rescan all buffs and all debuffs for all units in the raid. I'm bugging tekkup to optimize that, but he seems to be a bit busy these days. Maybe it'll help if you'd bug him too ;)
I'm also adding a small change to Detox now what will cause less cpu time on 'my' side. But this won't fix the performance issue with SpecialEvents-Aura-2.0.
IRC is your friend. I've just talked to tekkub and added a new event to RosterLib by his request. He's doing some performance monitoring later today, and we might see major improvements in SE-Aura when RosterLib is available (which is a good reason to add it to Detox as library).

Dancing + Coffee don't mix

Here's something for you to chew on:
http://iceroth.net/wow/detox_1.jpg
http://iceroth.net/wow/detox_2.jpg
1 is taken after Huhuran kill, I assume people are being swapped between groups a bit.
2 is after the raid when people are leaving.
I'm getting a bit of that annoying freezing when roster updates which I previously haven't had and I don't recall installing any other addons lately.

Any suggestions?
I suggest starting a new thread :P
