making it invisible while empty is the better choice in my eyes :)
that is probably the number 1 reason i've hated using decursive.. because of the stupid frame being up all the time..
if detox could auto hide when no one needs curing.. that would make me a happy mage :)
also i know this could be done by other mods... but ya know in the older days of ctra when people got debuffed by a curse or poison etc.. it would announce to your chat log
12 members were hit by curse of lawlabooms
would something like that be hard to put in? or is that too annoying for most people?
I think I won't be planning anything but maybe a simple skip list to Detox for the 1.0 release. The reason why: there are lots of ways to sort priorities, and if we want to do it right, this causes lots of work. A few examples:
- priority by group
- priority by class
- priority by health
- priority by debuff type
- priority by debuff name
- MT priority
Once AceGUI2 is ready, once someone has made a decent suggestion considering various possible situations (e.g.: group 6 contains all hunters in the raid. Then the hunters get moved to group 7. Will they keep priority if you priorized grp6? What if you priorize grp6 but de-priorize hunters?...), I might add it back in. Until then, please just click the lines in the tooltip to manually choose who to dispell.
TO DO FOR 1.0 RELEASE
- add option to skip range check
- show debuffed unit with highest priority in FuBar (like CorkFu)
- redo abolish code
- redo spellbook code
- optimize blacklist code
- find solution for hiding tooltip when empty but still visible if you want to drag it
- audio alert on debuff
- visible feedback on debuffing
KNOWN BUGS
Both known bugs are related to FuBarPlugin (which is doing the minimap icon menu), so I can only hope ckknight (author of FuBar and FuBarPlugin) will fix them soon, as there's nothing I can do myself:
- "cannot detach tooltip"
- "minimap icon gone after standby"
Excuse me if I'm mistaken, but it seems to me that the first time I used Detox, it auto-targetted the cursed player when I clicked the Detox button on my FuBar, but now it no longer seems to - I have to target the person specifically.
Am I imagining things, or is something wrong with my Detox?
maia my whole guild has changed of to this it simply better than decursive i get no LAG while spamming it in raid ! im relaay looking for the 1.0 release
tested it today and showed it to my guildies, but they won't use it until it has easier Priority list and Debuff Priority list, so please maia keep up the work and give us those features :D

I am yet to try Detox (tonight, hopefully), but from what I understand, Detox should be a bit like Squishy.
Hence the idea is to "decurse" people *without* targetting them, so, as healer, you don't lose your target (which might be a MT) while still being able to decurse/cleanse/whatever another people.
And as a mage, well... if you're not on full-decurse duty, you won't lose the target you're DPS-ing.

Hitting the detox keybinding should decurse the first person on the list without changing your current target. If that's not the case, check your auto-self-cast setting in tbe Blizzard UI.
Hey there, i'm now using Detox for about an week i think, im realy impressed and pleased.
I used it in differend Instances like Naxxramas and AhnQuiraji
But Yesterday we went to Blackwinglair worked also fine until we reached Nefarian.
Nefarian from time to time cast an Curse that weakens the healeffect on the target.
And as i am a Druid i stand for max heal range to the maintank but standing on my 40yards postion so i dont get feard the Curse wasn't shown on detox.
For sure i know its intendet that Detox shows me just Curses in decurse range and thats realy nice at all. But in this Special case it is important for me to know that some one out of my decurse range is debuffed so i can move near him and decurse him.
so i hope someone can give me an advice, or perhaps the scanrange can be enlarged a litle bit.
Really small request: could you lease add an option to be able to set justification, ie which way the text grows? Right now it grows from the middle, so if I put the Detox window up next to my raid list it always ends up overlapping and looks poo. I have to leave it in the middle of the screen right now, which looks poo too.
Also I agree with others, it would be nice if it disappeared when there's nothing to Detox (but that's on your list). I'd suggest an option to just let it fade away.
Oh, yeah, and one tiny little thing too: the "lock" option would be nice - if it let you click the list to Detox as well. I don't want to be able to drag the window around, but I do want to be able to click it.

As mentioned, I'm planning a toggle option to skip the range check. The current range check is 28yrds (which is the max range Blizzard allows to check for)

You'll have to suggest that to the autor of the Tablet library I'm using to show that live frame. I'm keeping the frame in my bottom left corner and it grows upwards and to the right, so I can imagine it will always grow towards the center.
As for locking it, try right clicking the frame - I think it has a lock option.

That's a limitation in Tablet. Once a detached tooltip frame is locked, it's no longer click-able.
Firiel, line 55 is checking for the localizatio for the spell "Prowl". I think your babble-spell is completely dead, as my version does include the french word for Prowl.

No matter how many you have, only the one with the highest revision number will stay in memory in the end. So, the good one is the one with the highest version number. Look for local MINOR_VERSION at the beginning of the Bable-Spell-2.0.lua file.
If you want to be sure to have the latest version of all the Ace2 libraries, download the latest !!!Livraries-r####.zip from http://svn.wowace.com/files/.
Priority -> By Class -> Subgroup A
By Group -> Subgroup B
By Player -> Subgroup C
Subgroups ABC being:
A -> Warriors B -> Group 1 C -> Player X
Mage Group 2 Player XY
Druid Group 3 Player XYZ
etc. etc. etc.
And as for the Cures:
Show Debuffs -> Only those i can cure
Magic
Poison
Curse
Disease
etc.

Detach tooltip and set transparency to 0. :)

Detox, Squishy and Fubar_TopScoreFu
I put the same version on the 3 libs
local MAJOR_VERSION = "Babble-Spell-2.0"
local MINOR_VERSION = tonumber(string.sub("$Revision: 9146 $", 12, -3))
there is the prowl translation
And i've always the error...

I've not the error with the version
local vmajor,vminor = "0.2", tonumber(string.sub("$Revision: 8852 $", 12, -3))
of Detox
the difference is :
No error =>
local invisible = {
[BS"Prowl"] = true,
[BS"Stealth"] = true,
[BS"Shadowmeld"] = true,
}
error =>
local invisible = {
[BS["Prowl"]] = true,
