I have been getting a lot of gold buying wispers lately. Is there a way to filter out certain /t /w if they contain cerain words? I'd love to filter the word 'gold'.
Awesome mod, it has been a great tool for me. i'm a newb when it comes to all the options in this mod so i apologize if the question i have is simplistic. I don't know whether it's a bug or a feature i have not enabled correctly.
Basically i have 2 chat windows. one has generic stuff (General) and another chat window (ie Chat1) with custom channels for guildies. the 2nd chat window i created through the blizz UI.
the problem i'm having is the "officer" channel won't stick to the custom channel window i made. everytime i log off and back on, the officer channel always defaults back to the 1st chat window (General). All the custom channels stick just not the officer channel. i haven't tried raid/bg channels.

Thanks. :)
Trunk, sounds like you have a very similar setup to the way I have mine. I also have the same problem. O-chat defaults back to chatframe1 from wherever you put it. Chatframe1's "o-chat" checkmark is unchecked. The chatframe that it is supposed to go is ALSO unchecked.
I could see the issue being that the custom frame is not saving (and it's defaulting back to frame1), or it could be something more esoteric.
First of all, I'd like to say thanks for all the work on this great mod. The breadth of the features is amazing and words of appreciation are never said frequently enough.
I am, however, having a problem which is vexing me. I'm trying to use Prat to set 10-point fonts for my Chat Boxes. This works, but, seemingly randomly (I haven't been able to determine that any event nor timeframe is doing it) my text size will switch back to 12-point. I am running a large number of mods, but none of them should be affecting this (and any that I think may have, I've shut down and /rl).
Anyone have any ideas on what could be causing this or if there is a tool I might be able to run to identify the problem? Any help is greatly appreciated!
EDIT: forgot to add, I'm running Bugsack and getting no errors.
EDIT2: found that opening any of several of the default Blizzard windows (i.e. Character, Quest Log, etc) reset the font size back to 10-point.

A fix was contriubted for this a few days ago. Can you make sure you are running the latest version and that the FontSize module is enabled for all chatframes
Feature Request/Ace Port (fits into Prat really well): Viper's System Message Tool
It has been out of date for a very long time and seemed to be broken after 2.0. It's too bad it broke because I found a lot of use for this AddOn. I was looking through the code myself to see if I could work on it but it was too complicated for me but it looked like it could be simplified using some Ace stuff. If some could check it out, I'd appreciate it.
- Module to remove joined/left raid group spam
- Module to change Names from Playername-Servername to Playername (*)
I recommend SSBGReformat, hes released a new version which is more compatible with the latest prat revision. I use this mod (and ther rest of sspvp) myself.

SSBGReformat is the buggiest addon, at least on my system.
some options (as status) give lua error, the remaining do not work at all or in a wrong way. (e.g. turning on spam blocker does nothing at all).
I've the latest versions of both prat and SSBGReformat.

Well, prat and BRReformat had to both be changed to work together. If you cant get the combo to work, provide an error report.
Im trying to get the next version of Prat coded while I have some free time, so I dont have any free time at the momemnt to add features.
Having an issue with Prat_Fubar2. It's showing up twice in the FuBar addon listing and I cannot disable it. Unchecking it does nothing.
When I click it, it gives me a LUA error, though i'm not sure if FuBar is broken or Bartender3 is broken or how either of those affects Prat_Fubar2's workingness. I have the most up to date release of FuBar.
I also tried updating TabletLib.

Please Delete Prat_FuBar2 it is no lnger needed, the fubar plugin is part of prat now.

prat has an option to set all the chatframes with the same fontsize (i think it's /prat fontsize but i could be wrong) for all chat windows. just toggle it off and you should be able to keep your font settings.
I updated and re-tested just prior to posting. I will update again and retry.
I've had the same problem whether I use the option to set fontsize for ALL or if they are set individually (all at 10 point).
EDIT: Updated to r22482 and deleted all Saved Variables for Prat. Same problem.

Watch this image...the first chat frame. You see the border around the frame?
I want that instead of the second one image without border.

I suggest implementing an expire tag to every cached player, so if you do not see him after, say 2 months, he is deleted from the cache.

Looks like System Message Control Tool might've been updated for 2.0. Agree that it would be great if this was made into a Prat module though :D
