Im having a problem with this addon, whenever i try to load it nothing happens, i log into wow and type /sq and /squishy and it just keeps giving me an error, and i know that it is loaded for sure. Any ideas?
Sorry if this question has been answered before, i didnt have time to read all of it.
I tried disabling all of the addons except for Squishy and it worked, but im still not sure which addon is having a conflict with it though.

Thats the old babble spell problem. I'm using the syntax:
[BS["Holy Light"]] = true
and as long as you're using a recent version of AceLocale, the new syntax (formerly it was [BS"HolyLight] = true) should work fine. Unsure what's going on there. Can you try to install the !!!Libraries and see if that helps?
Hi, i tried to download the latest version of squishy from the svn, but it seems that i cant get it working. I tried to load only squishy and impreved error frame and i get a serie of messages like :
Error: ...erface\AddOns\Squishy\libs\AceLibrary\AceLibrary.lua:28: Bad argument #3 to
`IsNewVersion'. Must be a number or SVN revision string. "$Revision$" is not appropriate
Probably i made something wrong in downloading it, but with every other addon i've downloaded with from the svn i don't have any problem. I use TorquiseSVN as client.
I hope someone is able to help me out. Thx in advance
Maia you recently took out the option to hide the squishy frame totally, I miss it. I use squishy on my shaman to heal with the frame. On my mage though, the only thing I use squishy for is for aggro portion. I dont need the squishy window on my desktop. Please add the option back in to remove it.
no, there's no way to change the sorting method. Frames will jump around every 0.2sec, making it terrible to use. I suggest to use the keybinding/script to target the unit with the highest priority instead.
Is there a way to sticky a bar when it's hovered ?
Would help a lot when there's many damages around.
Nakawe, I'm planning to move the aggro part to an external library, so you can use that without Squishy.
British, there's no easy way to do so. I guess. Will definetly need some hours of work, so it wont be added in the 1.0 release. But feel free to branch Squishy and add the change - I appreciate collaborative addon development.
Nakawe, if you really want to hide the frame, get an addon like Visor or MoveAnything to hide it. I won't be adding that option back. Squishy is an emergency monitor, so you'll want to display it ;)
Ragnor: yes, thats right. There's nothing I can do about it, sorry. Your call to either have more data in damagemeters or only people in range in Squishy.
Hmm maia you answered me twice. Are you making the aggro portion separate still? My original point was on certain characters I only need the aggro detection and others I need the emergency monitor. I was very clear on your first answer, NOW, You have totally confused me. I understand why you made the frame non hideable. before I had it configured depending on what character I was playing....Shaman or the mage.
dont those mods have a synch channel which is about 99% accurate? i would of thought the sync channels were put in specially to avoid having one person try to pickup the entire zones events ;P
Exactly. But since one person mentioned how to change the combat log range, everyone is doing it. :(
I'm sorry, but I'm faster with CT_RA emergency monitor because of the sorting. I don't have to parse the list in my head, the most hurt person is at the top of the list.
Healing the unit with the most damage is BAD, BAD, BAD. Squishy is about a smart priority sorting, and it even offers keybindings to target the unit with highest priority. And it's made for smart players that are able to decide which of the 10 units they want to heal.
If you think you're a good healer if you're stupidly clicking on the unit with the lowest health: think again.
so becouse you dont like it sorting by hp lost no one else can get it ? stupid arguement tbh
nah, what maia really meant is that a lot of people here asked that Squishy works this way, because a lot think that CT_Emergency is hard to heal with because the list changes to often, when you got a lot of healing around and damage, you never know who you are indeed healing.
Squishy was made so that persons who appear in the list stay excatly at that position for a time. Believe me, it reduces Overhealing a lot and healing is more efficient. In encounters where healing is at it's limit and mana too, the emergency monitor from CT will do our Manapool a lot more damage than good since spamming heal on the first one too appear will cause overhealing and perhaps others to die.
