my dream gmail addon - all the functionality of ct mailmod(open checked, open all, auto stacking) without the 21 slot bulk mail tab. That tab would easily be replaced by an integrated version of the bulkmail mod.
Would it be possible to remove the auto-adding of letters in mass mails? For clients without a mass collect option it's ALOT less clicking if you don't have to delete every mail just because there's a letter attached.

one can dream right? :)
Thats what Im looking at doing now actually sans the autosend stuff. I don't want GMail having any saved variables between logins right now. The old ct mass mail screen is an eyesore.

I guess that means you don't plan on having the saved names feature of the MailTo mod, I kind of like only having to type the names for the common people I mail to once and just select them from drop down after, especially since it saves them throughout the server.
What's the status here? I'd sure love to dump my last CTMOD soon. :)
I have no complaints w/ it at all...I would definately check it out. It's up on the SVN.
I concur, I dropped Ct_Mailmod a few weeks back and GMail has been exactly what I needed. Give it a shot before you delete your ct_mailmod and if you don't like it, no problems in just going back =)
Hehe when i switched to GMail mod, I actually logged out to check that i had CTMail disabled/deleted cause it looks so identical =) No complaints/problems here!
Can we get an update for this on the SVN? The last revision up on /files is from August 27th.
Why do you need an update?
If you dig around in the SVN, there's a later revision - just not easy for people to get ahold of. Presumably there's a good reason for the newer build(s).
Right now I'm busy ripping out the old Mass Mail tab and replacing it with something cleaner based on how bulkmail does it. I mean hello, they waste a paragraph describing how to use the mass mail feature on the old CT tab.
All I can say is, this is still an alpha mod and it will get updated when I have the version I am working on done.
As for description, it was originally just an Ace'd version of CT_MailMod. When I release the new version it will only be similar to CT_MailMod but not a port any longer.
will be nice if you add - return selected mails to the sender.
thanks
I'd like to second this, for when you're not as busy -- there's a CTMail_Mod (return selected) on curse that does this, albeit buggily most of the time. The forward selected request in the curse comments sounds like it'd be useful, too.

ooh thirded this request, i'd forgotten i had used the return selected hacked CTMail_Mod, yeah these would both be great features to have if its not too tricky.
Thanks :D

One problem is WoW tends to show Internal Mail database error more frequently when using Gmail than ctmailmod does :)
Not for me.
I swapped the CT mail mod on my fiancee's computer with GMail and she still hasn't noticed. It works.
