One issue I've run into is that if a station is not available, WoW may freeze.
This is quite possibly one of the coolest mods I've toyed with... And not to mention, the used memory doesn't seem to go up at all... your WoW hesitates for a second if you change channels (probably due to the opening of the stream), but once it's going it's smooth :)
One thing, whoever the author is... if you could add some sort of parsing to show the Song Name, Artist (if it's even possible) on the FuBar, that'd be the only suggestion I could think of.

Kudos on the great mod :)
There's no GetSongNameOfCurrentlyPlayingNetworkStreamingAudio() function in WoW. In fact, I'm wondering how Devla even figured out that PlaySound() takes http URLs... I'm suspecting foul play and infiltration. o_o

It wasn't me, however I was using Shoutcast! and had thoughts of making a branch with a FuBar menu and other options. Maybe it was my evil twin born from a chemical induced binge that I've since blacked out. Honestly I really don't know who Benumbed is, but I'd like to thank him/her.
As I previously mentioned, most of the credit should go to Skoodat, who came up with the ShoutCast! mod.
Regarding the WoW music, I'm guessing it would be possible to do something like Morricone did with Soundtrack. If a music file can be redirected, then logically it should be possible to redirect it to nothing.
I've been using this as well. Really like it. I took a lot of the streams from http://somafm.com/ (where Groove Salad originates) and am using those (along with a couple of Public Radio streams: BRD and Wait! Wait! FTW!)

A pretty sweet addon.

Groove Salad is my ultimate favorite stream of music. Hell, It exposes me to more music that I now have to look up.
If you dig downtempo / chill music then you must give it a try.
Right, but the problem I was having is that it Scrolls wicked fast and its near impossible to see. Also, if you reload or login and MSBT has yet to scroll anything, nothing displays if you do a /msplay #. Seems that MSBT has to display something first, then it will show.
In your next update can you please make sure to add WCRadio, and more of the channels from Digitally Imported?
I don't particularly like editing the LUA on every update as well - any chance we could put the channels in another file specifically dedicated for that information?
Yes I got the idea from Shoutcast but didnt like some of the coding in order to add a new station so totally rewrote it. Then it expanded into Fubar then a way to next/prev etc. The id3 tags are being sent to media player, just dunno how, even if possible, to pull it into WOW.
I am wanting to make it remember last station and allow adding channels from chat. Also a way to play a station by clicking on it from a broadcast, ex...
Player1 broadcasts via whisper (already done) or to guild (already done)
Player2 clicks on it and it plays that channel
Problem is that I run prat and it treats it like a link and copys to clipboard which is a way you can play it as custom channel /msinput http://whatever/stream/ (copied from the broadcast)
---------
The key features I am looking to add when I get free time...
1) Add/Del/Skip Channels thru db
2) Dropdown with channels on right click (maybe here is where you can uncheck, which would skip that channel)
3) Tooltip on play would be "Channel - Channel Label"
4) Tooltop on prev would be "Channel - Channel Label" of the prev channel
5) Tooltop on next would be "Channel - Channel Label" of the next channel
6) Somehow display the id3 tags that are already being sent.
This mod is awesome. I've been playing WoW in window mode so I can do an always on top music player to stream a shoutcast. This lets me get rid of that.
One feature request. The artist-title scrolling/displayed in the detached tooltip would be choice.
I'm also not seeing it when aligned left on fubar, but just fine when center or right.

this advertisement is now over. 8 )
Reorganized all the channels and added a few more
SCT Support
I tried to add MSBT support, but couldn't get it to work right. I left in what I tried, but commented it out. If anyone can get it working, go nuts.
Also, check the first post, I added a list of slash commands and channels.
Though I prefer...
(without the colors)
Thanks for adding that.
