Sprocket 0.8.9
* fixed an issue with "Button Offset" not being save/loaded for menus
Same bug whith "Show item count".
And one more little bug. Spellc cooldown shown on submenu button (only if spell and submenu buttons lokate in the same place in two different menus). Not important, but sometimes that make me confused.
understand what u mean about the scaling. Minor for me,..its a matter of taste i guess.
Or maybe a thinner image border on the 8 buttons. So its not overbearing...rather than scale itself.
Just throwing out ideas...thnksa n a GREAT Mod..really!
I'd second the request for an optional 'thinner' sprocket gear border on the icons. I love the style, but the current gear thickness is a bit overbearing in relation to the icons (largely because I got used to the original minimap-button version). It is obviously a very minor request ;)
Sprocket 0.9.0
* fixed some issues with show count not saving/loading state properly
* added the ability to choose the border texture for the item buttons and the floating button. Options are the default sprocket gear, the minimap tracking border, or "custom" (type your texture path)
I updated to the version posted at wowinterface.com and i encounter a small bug. The explosion effect after the selection of an item, only apears for my first radial menu, it doesn'tshow on the rest, no matter if the corresponding option is on or off.
edit: it seems that the effect only trigger for spells or consumables, but not for macros/scripts or anything else
Just wanted to say thanks -- this mod is GREAT. I'm a mod junky always changing my mods and interface around, and I have to say this might be the best mod I've used.
Please post the problem macro's and scripts here. Also, make sure you're running 0.9.2. I've tested this with the released version and had no issues. The macro I tested with was:
/dance
/sit
Both lines execute properly.
The script I tested with was:
- Is there a way to make one of those spell/script/whatever a toggle ? I have put my ShadowForm in a menu, and when I'm in ShadowForm and want to get back to normal by using SPr... well, it doesn't work :x
A little bumping for a potential very handy behavior...
Thanks for the addition of the textures for the buttons! Its great now!
Small thought,...possible to allow a choice of icons for buttons that act as Submenus? I set mine up with 3 submenus and will take some getting used to, but if each submenu could have a unique icon it would make it easier to identify.
Also, from latest build, noticed that I have to drag spells from the spellbook to work. If I dragged them from the action bar they dont work on Sprocket. Is it meant to be this way? curious.
Other than that, great mod and still getting used to using it...lol! Too used to action bars and their buttons. Takes awhile but makes my UI so much more sexier and fun to play with!
I never had much luck with that. If I put the macro in my actionbar, the item appeared like it should, but if I put the macro in my sprocket menu, I just got an error when I tried to use it.
Damn right! it works flawesly if you assign sprocket to the filled-with-consumer-macros- action bar but as Zapf said, it doesnt work if you try use consumer straight from sprocket. personally i dont really mind anyway as it works ok for me^^
edit: Dreyruugr, i posted it some replies above but i think you missed it, with the latest build(s), the graphical effect (that explosion thing) shows up when activating spells only and not for any other activities, as the previous versions did. Is this a bug or intented change ?
uhm i'm asking alot i know, just slap me:P, but it would be a nice idea, to include autobar/xad/consumer lookalike functionality into the radial menu. I mean the consumer/sprocket combo works nicely (altho i cant find food/waters icon for consumer, that's another story :P), so it would be really nice to make them 1 mod or something :)

why make them in one mod if both are working nicely together?
... i mean: not everyone wants to use consumer etc. functions with sprocket, they might simply want a unbloated radial menu, so don't force them to load the other stuff. if you want to use it, simply run consumer beneath sprocket.

Consumer was just an example, i mean that type of functionality to be available. As it has now the option to create a raid target radial menu, it would be nice to have the option to create a consumable radial menu, without the need of loading different mods for that :) but as i said i'm asking alot :P

* fixed an issue with emotes commands not working with Script type items
* fixed an issue with the exec animation sometimes not firing
You rule :D
One thing I'd like to see is some type of class/char profiling or auto-population of buttons. Asking alot I know :p

I do think the following would let you use a Script type item with XAD:
/script this = XADButton6; XAD:OnClick( "LeftButton" )
That should use the bandange feature. Button 5 is water and I think 4 is food... they go in order from hearthstone up to bandage.
