No. It's more a personnal calculator. One of the best feature of healpoints is to tell you, when you are looking at an item, if it is best than what you're currently wearing. It does so only for the purpose of healing, and I wanted the same feature for a few other scenario, like tanking gear or DPS gear. With the addition of combat scores in the expansion, it will become more and more difficult to find by yourself which item is best for you. Imagine having to choose between 20 critical strike rating and 18 Attack Power. The framework I'm building will make it very easy to create addons that will help you make these decisions.
The difficult part would be determining the advantage of bonuses like crit/hit/penetration/resilience...for each class.
You can do this by determining a measuring factor.
E.g. for an MS warrior, perhaps your "Damage" metric is how much of a change you see to a white hit+MS... and then you scale crit/hit around those.
Survivability is stamina.
Resilience... I have no idea how to deal with, since for an MS warrior (with Enrage), it might make your overall dps go down (less chance to be enraged). That and incoming attacks have varying crit rates :-/
