I'm trying to figure out how to set up a custom Clique click to emulate my soon-to-be-discarded Needy List. I like to use left click for flash heal, and obviously this is a problem on normal unit frames since I need to target sometimes too. I'm just not a scripter, so I'm not sure what it should look like, but basically what I think might work is something like this:
if my click-target has lost more than 800 health
and my mana is greater than 379
cast highest rank flash heal -- that part is Clique:BestRank(spell) I think?
otherwise just target unit -- that part is TargetUnit(Clique.unit) I think?
Could anyone tell me how to code that to work for left clicking on a frame with Clique, assuming it's even possible? Or think of a better way to just target on left click *unless* the target actually needs the quickie heal? Thanks heaps!! :)
This has probably been asked before, but 26 pages of threads is a lot of pages to go through.
My question is simple, I very little coding/lua/etc. I do have simple macros that scale healing depending on a few simple factors. They are currently keybound. My question is, how do I have clique call up a command /thisisamacro?
You can't call macros. You'll need to find the underlying functions being called, i.e. anything after /script, etc.
As an example, if I wanted to open the WatchDog menu through a frame click, instead of using /wd what would I put in the custom? What would be the best way to find which function to replace a /wd type of slash commands with?
Alright, and SCT:ShowMenu() for Scrolling Combat Text. Thanks Claidhaire, I'll just muck through some .lua files and try to figure out which things I was looking for.
I was asking because I briefly played with Natur's Enemy Castbars and there was a slash command to reset a timer. I was experimenting with using Clique to cast HoTs and get NECB to reset the timers in a way I liked. Ended up just using AceTimer instead.
I love this addon. I've tried lots of clickcasting mods and this is perfect as its not bloated with junk I dont use and its so simple :)
Though as far as I can tell, there's no current plugin that supports the ct_unitframes target of target frame? Or is there and I'm just blind or not able to get it working? (I've searched and read most of this thread, so unless I missed it there too...)
