I look forward to the bars snapping to one another as they did in Bartender.
I also look forward to not having the bars on the side have their buttons in reverse order.
:)
No rush, or anything.
StickyFrames -support will come when the basics of Bartender2 are done. After that i will make the Maia's mockup -module, and then I have a look at the StickyFrames.
I'm sorry, there will not be an option to change the way the buttons go. it's only to right, or up.
I did change them to be like that with a good reason :) (which is mentioned under this)
Another thing is if someone makes a module to do that, it can be done pretty easily afterall.

In other news:
I just added Swapping for all bars except MicroButtonBar. It proved to be a real ***** to handle so it's not swappable.
Maia's layout is not in yet, and will propably be an extra module to load along.
Ammo also did some basic AceOptions for me, and I extended it to have all the needed commands in.
Ladies and Gentlemen... We have Slashcommands! just /bar to continue :) It will guide you the rest info you need.
Edit: I'm not sure did I mention this, but there will be no more DB resets in the future. I got the DB like i wanted and now it's going to stay like it is. Notice that you will get a reset if you have an older DB than the current one marked in .lua
Also This one I did forget to mention. BagBar and MicroButtonBar have swapped places, since BagBar is smaller now, thanks to Phyber's idea to remove the bordertextures of the bags too.
Any chance the movable quest frame from the first version will be back? Perhaps as a separate mod? I liked being able to move it easily :).
Also, the right click hide/unhide was nice too.
Questframe, propably a module :)
The rightclick.. it was kinda good wasn't it.. but now I use different method to show/hide the buttons so i can't use the rightclick anymore. Since the Bar-Hide does actually hide the bar and then there isn't anything to click on :P
Maybe show all the bars when you unlock them, then hide them again? ^^ I'll look at the code and see how you did it, but you'd obviously know more about it than me. It's not a huge deal, as one only really needs to do it once per character, but it was darned convenient!
I'd love a quest frame module when you have a moment :). Or maybe I'll just see if I can gut it out of Bartender 1 for now. I love the Blizzard default quest frame, but it's placement sucks. I prefer my debuffs there :).
Anxiously waiting that plugin for Maia's layout too. It's sweet.
Looking forward to using Bartender2 once it gets a little further along! Was wondering about a few things:
Is there going to be selfcast keys and/or an auto selfcast option?
A quick move key so you can move the buttons easily even while they're locked?
Option to hide macro and/or keybinding text? (I hate the macro text, personally...)
Option to reduce the bags to just a single bag? (For those of us who use OneBag or Bagnon, but still like having a bag icon somewhere...)
I'm assuming that since there's going to be modules, it should be possible for me to make a module in the future if I want buttons that look like, say, these:
Which is trimmed icons and a custom colored border... That a realistic assumption?

Self-cast will be built into the default UI next patch (tomarrow).
No idea about quick-move.
Hideing keybinding text is already in there.
Just hide your bag buttons, if you use one-bag you really don't need them.
Not sure what Mikma is planning regaurding a modular design.
Been having a small break from coding, been raiding and playing the game :)
Now I had a look at the options-menu and I absolutely no idea how it works. Might take some time before I figure it out so don't expect it soon :(
The Maia's mockup is coming after I first get the menu done.
I currently switched to Bartender2 from DAB, wanted some lightweight action bar addon, and although DAB was loaded with features, I used just a tiny percentage of them and found I don't want to sacrifice performance because of it.
And now, I can't figure out how to add keybindings to Bar10 (Shapeshift Bar). I see the Bar10 changes as I switch stances - excellent. But where do I find keybinding assignment for this bar? And - would they stay the same when the bar changes to another page? Ie. would Charge (key 1) stay the same as Intercept (also key1 but on different page)?
The keybindings for bar 10 are shared with bar 1 :). Warriors do not even need bar 1, it isn't used. Druids use bar 1 in caster form, and bar 10 in other forms.
Since 1.12, sometimes when I switch to bear I get the cat action bar textures and viceversa. The tooltips are still correct and the abilities work without problem.
However, I'm not 100% sure it's Bartender 2's fault. Anybody else running into this ?

I have it too, it's the only reason for keeping me using bongos rather than bartender.

Yes - I noticed as well. I haven't tested this on my warrior yet to see if there is aproblem there tooo.
Hi all. Yes, I have halted development of Bartender for a month, and I will continue it after 9.9 again :) I'm getting Married and I'm really busy with all the wedding-thigs now.
And Yes, There seems to be a damn bug with the cat-nelf-bear-nelf-cat shapeshift. That I will fix propably tomorrow when I get home. I play Druid too and it's driving me nuts :)
Seems to me that 1.12 patch broke Bartender2 Shapeshifting. I have tried to fix it but I have no idea what's wrong with it. Therefore I guess it will continue being broken until I find out someone who knows how to fix it :(

Anywho, as I said, looking forward to this!
Impatiently awaiting these buttons.
Enjoy :)
