yeah probably the code isn't good but the idea and how it work it's wonderful i whink it just separete in a "one bag" items for their tag.. i love it.

EngBag is... god I don't know how to describe it. Way way back when (when I wrote eventful/warmup) I went into EB and "fixed" the constant updating when the bag isn't shown... it does a full bag scan every BAG_UPDATE... very bad. Anyway, just looking at the code makes me want to cut myself. I sat down and tried to clean up some of it... after about 5 min of that I wanted to cry. I've cleaned up a good number of mods... but EB is just beyond help I think.
Yes, PT can really help in this arena. EB is one of the big needs I saw for PT, it's part of the reason I wrote it. probably 80% of the item classifications in EB could be optomized greatly by relying on PT sets instead of nasty tooltip scanning.
Thirster, look at InvSort on the SVN, it was a great start, really it only needed to get it's item updating shit fixed (same issue as EB, updates all the time, not just when it needs to). It's all that weird metatable AceInventory shit... I didn't feel like trying te decipher that :)
ooo sorting and grouping. Sounds fantastic as I use engbags. There was an updated version where he had cleaned up the code a lot to use a lot less memory and I must say it did stop my game from pausing whenever it updated. It seems extremely nice and smooth now. Of course I would prefer an aced version because the sorting into groups helps me a lot.
I don't know why people would even use it... just take 5 minutes to catagorize your bag a bit. Personally I just find it a waste of memory to add a feature like that because some people don't care to organize their bag.

Just as an FYI I plan to take a look at EngInv itself along with onebag and invsort as a starting point. I have a cazy idea that might alow me to do this as a module for onebag and just resort the bag slots when the bag window is opened. At any rate this isn't going to happen quick so don't hold your breath for it anytime soon.
