OK - checked it again - and using a svn-client (tortoise) doesn't make a difference. AceHook2.1 seems to be heavily bugged. Copying the AceHook2.1 Revision 14013 in the AceHook-Folders of the Addons and replacing the new ones does solve the problem for me...
Hope you'll fix it asap because it bugs all ace-mods with acehook21.

It breaks some without AceHook 2.1 too, like simpleMinimap (dropdown won't work) and XPBarNone (the bar doesn't show up).
I've been using WinAceUpdater and I had this problem today with the hook messing up my addons. I downloaded the Ace2 libraries and it works fine for now, but something is totally borked.
I had this problem as well. I was looking to update oRA2 to check out the new MT feature, and I said to myself "I'll just use the WinAceUpdater and update all my Ace2 mods!"
Kaboom.
Culprit mods included PursueFu, MoneyFu, GroupFu, uGuild, QuestsFu. I had similar problems with simpleMiniMap not being able to bring up the dewdrop menu and not retaining any settings, FuBar plugins failing to load and not reloading once re-enabled, numerous (as in most) vChat features not working, oRA2 menu options giving nil value errors... too many problems to list here. After reverting my "problem" mods to previous versions, I had no further trouble. Something is amiss.
So if I wanted to update what I have, I'd have to get one of the following:
ace2 - zip
ace2.0 libs
I'll use my older versions until something is fixed... as they're not broken, so not gonna fix em ;> Just wanted to update what I have.
Same here. The easiest solution was to revert to known working versions. When you bust your UI 30 minutes before leading your guild's first Ragnaros attempt, you want the easiest and fastest solution. :P
The problem stems from people expecting addons to be bugfree on svn.wowace.com or www.wowace.com/files.
The zipped files are snapshots from the SVN, created everytime a dev commits something to their addon. It is not at all guaranteed to work. Heck, half the time I just drycode stuff, commit and then a few hours later boot WoW to check if it works.
Complaining all your addons broke into smithereens because you updated them all and one of the libs contained an error will usually not work, since most of the time the lib itself will already be fixed, but all the .zip's that were generated during that time contain the bad lib.
So the solution is either to use a SVN client, or just wait for WoWi/Curse releases.
www.wowinterface.com. When we have a verified working version, we upload it there under beta / finished mods.
Some commits on agUF[TBC] broke the addon, so I have two versions of the addon: latest revision for testing and coding and a working version when I do instances.
We do appreciate power users who tries the latest svn's and report bugs, but please beware that everything there is pre-release quality.
All you need is the Ace2 Addon, that fixes up the Hook 2.1 error for me. Tried and tested hope this helps.
But that's a temp solution. Ideally, when this thing is all cleared out, all Ace2 addons should be standalone and not require any library/ace2 separate addon to work.
I have the problem with oskin ... bugsack spams my chatwindow full with many errors. I had download the last version of oskin and ace2 from the svn. But it doesn't help :(
I checked out http://svn.wowace.com/wowace/trunk/ . so, one just grabs the files there for their enjoyed addon and plugs them into the folders? I'm wondering because some of them I go to look into the Libs branch of X-Addon and it's empty...didn't see them wrapped in a zip, so just download individually and plug them into the folders?

svn.wowace.com is for the normal user to use with a svn client. It is read-only. (always use a SVN clinet, never download the files by hand one at a time)
I really wonder how many times people have to be told to use a SVN client if they are using the SVN before they understand that they need to use a SVN client?
The wiki also cantains several pages on how to get stuff from the SVN and there are numerous posts on the forum on the same topic.
And that's why I rather use WinAceUpdater... My English was not enough good to start using an SVN-client (well, I just couldn't find any usable clue about it...)

is an article I wrote after encounternig similar problems and finding the "correct" way to fix them. It may help some people, but take the advice with a pinch of salt until I get more feedback on the article's accuracy.

Zero errors...
and the majority of them use AceHook 2.1

not from !!!Libs, the actual ace2 zip file

You'd probably prefer http://www.wowace.com/files/ - that's a better way to grab one AddOn at a time, anyway. (And if you ever need to rollback to a previous version, the only way I know.) Using the WowAceUpdater (http://www.wowace.com/forums/index.php?topic=2419.0) is a good option if you want an automagic approach too. If you're using http://svn.wowace.com/wowace/trunk/ for that, you need an SVN client (http://www.wowace.com/wiki/What_is_the_SVN%3F).
My preference is for WoWAceUpdater.
