Would it be possible to get a slider to set the scan distance? My thoughts on this are, I get the alert for something not showing on my minimap so I have to roam in a spiral to find it. I dont know anything about making an addon and if such a feature would be a great undertaking or break the addon. just a "would be cool if" I know some may like the scan distance it is at, me I'd rather have it limited to the minimap. Thanks for the addon, its helped immensely
Is there a reason why NPCScan.Overlay is not being updated/working?
I have another question. I use Titan Panel as well and it seems that I can't use both, Titan Panel and NPCScan at the same time. Once I disabled NPCScan the other one was working fine. What could be the problem?
I have NPCScan, have leveled all the professions on my main and alts, never had a problem, wife doesnt have a problem either, its gotta be something else
Not only can I not reproduce this, but I can't fathom how this would even be possible since NPCScan doesn't touch trade skills at all. Please install BugSack and try again - you should get a Lua error when you cannot open your profession window, which will tell you what and where the error occurs.
After I have been logged on for a bit, I have issues opening profession tabs. When I click them my bag opens. Reloading UI fixes it for a while. I don't think it's NPCScan. I thought it might have been bagnon causing some taint but I haven't tested anything yet. It doesn't produce any errors when the problem occurs.

ThTs exactly what I have, it opens the bag, and doesn’t show any errors. It just doesn’t open the profession panels, at all. When I turn off npcscan, it all works again. Maybe it clashes with inventory addons? As I use bagbrother
I disabled NPCScan and after a while I had the same issue. So it's not NPCScan. Going to be hard to diagnose as it doesn't seem to occur until I have been playing for a prolonged period of time.
i have the same issue abt the professions not opening after a while when ive logged into wow, a reloadui sorts it out but i didnt think it was connected to npscan, i guess disabling it before u load wow and then seeing if it happens may disprove it or prove it, as disabling it once in game means u reloadui and that sorted the problem out for me.
FWIW, I ran a stock UI trying to track down Professions issues, no addons, and had issues opening professions which required a /reload ui. It's not NPCScan

am also wondering for an ETA on the overlay update lol :),
not to mention for Collectinator and Ackis recepy list lol :p
I have had to disable NPC scan after finding that it is blocking the professions recipe lists and preventing me crafting at all.
Hoping for a fix, but love the addon.
