I want a right click menu that gives me the option to open a GUI... In Windows (and XWindows, FYI) a right click gives you a MENU, not a GUI/Window, why in the hell should fubar be any different?
FuBar isn't Windows; Windows isn't FuBar
Let's keep it that way (Remember Vista?). Give it time. People will either like it,learn to like it,or/and ck will add in the option.
I am also having the problem that other(s) have reported. Icons alla round minimap. However I cannot get 3.0 to work at all (for any practical purpose). What pluings to register to it and load do not function and cannot be adjusted (right clicking on them gives an old framework reference error).
Where can i get the latest Fubar 2.0? I need to roll back to it.

"old framework reference"
i assume it's refereing to dewdrop, waterfall, and the such? the Core Addon "FUBAR" is built on a Rock, where as the plugins are not... one should go and get the support libs that those plugins where built on top of.. and then bitch to the authors of those plugins (not ck) about the missing libs.
--the day of recconing is at hand... we get to see who is a lazy programer and who is not.
I updated all my mods through WAU last night, ensuring Externals were on (as per various comments I read). Everything worked fine, and with the new Cartographer, Fubar, and PitBull, as well as using the new AucAdvanced public preview, my load times were far shorter than they have been for a long time.
The new Rock configuration system is insteresting: it's like a somewhat more flushed out Waterfall. However I do have a question regarding FuBar:
How do I unhide hidden FuBar plugins? It used to be under DewDrop I'd simply right-click my FuBar and select the add-on I wanted to add to the FuBar panel. I couldn't find anything like that through the Rock cp.
Also, I'd like to suggest (as other have) that a dropdown menu can be quite beneficial for making quick changes, and thus such a system shouldn't be eradicated entirely.
Yep. Right-click on the FuBar you want the hidden plugin on. RockConfig will automatically open to the options for that FuBar. There's a pull-down menu on the right where you can check off ones you want to see.

Loving new Fubar/Rock stuff <3. One small thing, more like request.
I'm curious, any chance in future version, would love to have option to change transparency of panels(bars) separately, you know top one for example on 80%, bottom one 15% etc. Rest of it Rocks ^^.
Ever since updating to Fubar 3, I've had 2 issues. I copied this text from Bugsack. All my addons are uptodate. I assume the Mousetip refernce is to the tooltip mod, Cirk's Mousetip.

Thanks, the bugfixes to Cart seemed to have helped, thanks. I think I was able to make a change in the FuXPFu lua that solved the problem there. I posted that in the FuXPfu thread, which I should have done first, in retrospect.
Ok im not sure if this how its ment to work? or if this is a bug if its a bug? in the rock config page under fubar i select Background and try entering RGB values what use a decimal point it always sets it self to 1 or 0 not eg R0.33 G0.36 B0.55

Could someone point me at where in the config you can change the transparency of the panels ? I see the color changer, but not one for transparency :(
It's in the main FuBar options because transparency can't be set per-panel. Hopefully that will be changed, since it's a bit difficult to find the setting right now.
Everything was working yesterday, for the second day after updating to FuBar 3.0.
However with today's build, everytime I login to a character, my FuBars get all messed up. The proper plugins are displaying with all the proper options, but their placement is way out of whack (mostly shifted to the left side of the top bar). If I set them properly, either using the dewdrop options of each plugin to set the proper side and then moving them, or simply dragging them wherever I wish ? nice feature BTW ? they will reset next time I login.
I'm using build r49308, and the default FuBar profile (used for all my characters).

I just ran WAU and now and having the same problems.. all my plugins are there.. they are just all in the wrong spots. I've tried moving them back to where they should be, but as soon as I relog, they go back to their old (messed up) placements

You want whatever version is on that page prior to r49072.
