I use per char profiles on every character and have never had a problem.
tried that, but more then 2 profiles (1 char + default) just isn't possible, any attempt to make more corrupts the settings beyond repair and forces a full purge of all SV's to get function back.
Even the setting of 2 profiles is a huge work with settings being lost/mixed up if the interface is reloaded for any reason whatsoever. Sometimes even a normal relog mixes the settings up, but worst if i try a reload.
I had a question today. I've been messing with the hide feature for fubar, and I noticed an odd behavior with (i assume)frame types under the fubar. The addon's are Chinchilla, Elk Buff Bars and Autobar. I've placed all three underneath where the bar would be if it was shown unhidden. But the behavior when mousing over 2 of the 3 addon's is different. When mousing over the autobar buttons, the fubar does not show unless I mouse to the top of the screen. When I mouse over the chinchilla frame or EBB buffs, the bar will pop up if I get anywhere near where the bar would be unhidden. Is the ability to have it preform uniform like it does when mousing over autobar on the author of the addon to code or is this something that you would have to code?
Tldr version: I want to only have the hidden fubar pop up if I mouse to the top of the screen.

Think its related to the strata (layer) of the addons. Autobar is "ontop" of the fubar and thus hides it from the mouse, while chinchilla and and EBB is "under" the fubar and thus alows the mouse to interact with fubar triggering it to show.
Thank you both, I was able to set the strata on chinchilla to low and get use of the full minimap with out fubar popups. :) Off to check on how to do the same with EBB.
Had a similar experience with the Profile bug. I figured it was with the "Default" profile.
What I did was I deleted all FuBar SVs and restarted over.
Upon first log-in of a character:
1) Switch to a new profile - e.g. Class Profile IMPORTANT: NEVER EVER touch the DEFAULT profile - it is messing up everything
2) Do all your edits with your new profile
What I haven't tested: Copying profile from one to another.
My FuBar now works fine.
On further testing, I 'touched' the Default profile. It messed everything up again. The bug is in the Default profile as far as my personal test go.
Hope that helps those who are having the same problems as I am.

Try creating a new empty panel and see if it stretches properly.

Put your curser at the end of the bar, when it turns into a sword icon you can click and drag to change the length of the bar.

I know some font mods will change fubar .And I believe color too.
I have an issue where the addon settings icon (the little screw for Rock?) will not say where I put it on the mini map, nor stay hidden. It seems that none of those settings save, if you set the window fade to 100% (so it doesn't fade when you mouse off) that reverts to defaults as well.

you have to turn off hardware mouse mode in the video options for the mouse cursor to show up in screenshots.

FuBar 3.0 is the last version; it's called sometimes simply FuBar.
