After running WowAceUpdater today, I can no longer see the status of my parties quests. Previously a kill quest would look like:
[Level] Quest Name
Mob to kill Prty1:D Prty2:12 12/15
Now I only see my status and, in the chat window at the bottom I'm not getting updates from group members either. Group members also can't see my status/changes. Any ideas?
They haven't updated recently. I cruelly broke comms compatibility a day or two ago.
My Questsfu seems to have reset the width....and it is much wider than what i prefer...but the width slider won't go any lower. Is it possible to add a little code to make it go a little slimmer, plz..

Hi!
It seems that the tracker doesn't respect the minimum width rule on quests update with the "Wrap quest titles" option enabled. The frame becomes too small than it should be very often.
there is no way to fix the size definitely?
I've been using questfu for over a year now, and I've been holding out a for a fix that's never come, so I'll describe my issue here.
What happens is, occasionally, and seemingly at random, the questfu tooltip, detacthed or not, will unexplicably refuse to respond to mouse clicks. It lists quests by zone, such as Nagrand, Netherstorm, Shadowmoon Valley, etc. Occasionaly, it will get in a state where all these regions are collapsed and when I click on the "+" (plus sign) in the header, nothing happens expect toggling it to a "-" (minus sign). I can click all day long and the tooltip will refuse to expand and show the quests in that zone. Sometimes reloading the UI will fix it and other times it will not. Also, sometimes it seems to clear itself up without any manual intervention. I like questfu overall and I've tolerated and lived with this bug, reloadingui when it occurs etc, but it would really be nice to see if there was a fix for this. It is very frustrating and when it happens, it makes the addon unusable. I have a lot of addons loaded and I can provide a comprehensive list if you'd like. But this is the only quest-related addon I use.
Anway, thanks to all the people who work hard on addons and for making the wow experience a better one.
As of 2.4 QuestFu does not work with Lightheaded. Lightheaded will work with the standard Quest log interface.
When opening quest details with QuestFu, I get this error:
Interface\AddOns\Lightheaded\lightheaded.lua:91 : attempt to compare number with string
Is there any fix for this?
EDIT: Apparently, according to the writer of lightheaded,QuestFu needs to be updated to use the 2.4 API, which uses quest ids instead of name/level pairs. Is this something that is coming?
---
Also getting an error everytime I make progress in a quest (for example collecting 1/8 pieces of Nether residue):
Interface\Addons\FuBar_QuestFu\lib\Sink-1.0\Sink1.0.lua:258: attempt to call method 'Is Active' (a nil value)
I phrase it this way because I intend to thoroughly gut QuestsFu in the next day or two. When I'm done it'll just be the core left. All other functionality is already in BetterQuest.
Only reason I haven't done it already is that I haven't decided how to handle the Comments and Details modules yet.
Should I just upgrade to BetterQuest? I haven't heard anything about that add-on. Clearly it is still your (Kemayo) add-on. Will it work like QuestsFu?
Seaphus: If you like QuestsFu for anything it does other than showing the quest count on FuBar, and showing the FuBar tooltip, then you'll need to upgrade.
This includes: the better tracker, adding levels to the default frames, remembering quest givers, putting quest progress into floating combat text and tooltips, and sounds.
Right now BetterQuest lacks a pretty details panel, and LightHeaded integration. It should still *work* with LightHeaded, but only in the sense that it will properly open up the quest log with LightHeaded showing.
Edit: took a look...no Fubar yet? I didn't see any.The new tracker, is it gonna be possible to hide the header and still move the on screen quest tracker?

My thought is that if you want FuBar stuff you can use FuBar_QuestsFu, which will return to its original incarnation as just "a FuBar module that tells you about quests".
BetterQuest should create two trackers created:
"full", which shows all your quests just like the QuestsFu tooltip does. It has its header visible, and all that jazz.
"tracker", which quietly replaces the Blizzard quest tracker. Its header is hidden, its contents are ordered by level, and its background is all transparent.
An arbitrary number of trackers can be created if desired, with a fair bit of flexibility available. Type '/bq' for options, or find them in the new Interface Options addons tab.
I've found out how to config the trackers but not how to show.
Maybe it has todo with following error which occurs since BetterQuest is installed:
[2008/03/29 02:28:01-1292-x1]: LibQuixote-2.0\LibQuixote-2.0.lua:307: table index is nil
LibQuixote-2.0\LibQuixote-2.0.lua:117: in function <...Ons\LibQuixote-2.0\LibQuixote-2.0\LibQuixote-2.0.lua:116>
Kemayo, dunno if I explained it like I meant.I just wanna know if the onscreen ,Blizz replacement. tracker can be the same as the one in Questfu? No header and draggable.

Sounds good to me then! :)
