I just logged on with the 2.4.2 patch and I received no errors pertaining to my mod. I loaded it by itself and with other mods I use, and it working as intended.
Can you be more specific as to what 'broke'?
I am running 2.4.04 and it just shows "Dailes Quest Tracker" in FuBar. When I mouse over it, I get nothing. When I right-click, the menu doesn't show options for text or icon. It's not showing any quests.

I logged in and it said there was a problem with not being able to find "Abacus"
You can hide this in the options menu. Once I get everything working I'll add in something to that nature of showing how many users of the mod, or only have it show the dailies if you obtain them successfully from others.

noticed this has now started to use a channel to acecomm (something like that) what royally screws up chat channels e.g you cant see who is in channels only acecomm channel takes over every channel

This has been fixed with the latest update so the channel doesn't become sticky, which has already been stated from my post above yours.
AceComm pushed itself into Channel #1, thereby messing up the numbers of every single other channel :(
Glad I saved a copy of Dailies pre-2.4.2 heh
How does it chooose what # to put the AceComm channel as? Is there any way to set it manually in the lua? Or any plans to allow users to choose that # to put AceComm as?

i agree with you its a pain in the backside wish i could remove it totaly
Not sure how AceComm manages the AceComm Channels, I'll see what I can do about making it use the next available channel instead of forcing itself first.

Yes for sure. Identical issue I reported in the Daily Quest Viewer thread 4 days ago. That mod provides a similar feature using the same method (AceComm-2.0) as this mod now does now.
Back to an earlier version here as well ;).
The hidden channel creation creates havoc both when you have it active (clogging up your WoWChatLog.txt file with AceComm messages) and when you disable it (such as in raids), which moves the global channels back to their original locations. After disabling, you have to reset the colors for all your channels, then do it again when you enable it again :(.
Apparently one way that may work around the issue is as OrionShock said in that thread: "...create a timer in your on enable to wait ~20 seconds or more to join the chat channel.". Its AceComm-2.0 that bullies its way into the channel, not the mod.
Other ways include using the newer, currently maintained AceComm-3.0, which I have not seen create this problem (in GatherMate_Sharing, among others). Or perhaps LibRockComm-1.0. And probably the fastest fix: allow the user to completely disable AceComm-2.0 communication in the mod for future logons. So that people who want to use it without the issues that library creates can do so.
** UPDATE Version 2.4.2.03 5/16/08 STILL TESTING**
AceComm should now default to using the next available channel then trying to insert itself into Channel 1. ** TESTING**
You no longer have to accept a quest to populate the Random Daily info, just talking to the associated quest giver and it will grab the quest info needed. (This doesn't accept the quests for you, it's just populates the Random Dailies info)
Show Me The Money! shows the monetary value of all dailies so you can hunt out the dailies that give you the most gold. This will also show if you've done the quest already by highlighting it in green.
If a Random Daily is known (from you or gathered from a user), you can click the text and it will paste the daily with the associated info [Quest and Location] into the chat box, so you can let others know what the daily is without having to type it out. If you have the quest it will provide a [Quest Link], if you don't it'll be simple text.
Fixed some of the changes Blizzard made to some daily rewards

So I went to http://files.wowace.com/sw-a.html
Downloaded it
And now it works.
Read the error messages :P

Hopefully the updated libraries will make those little headache error go away.
There wasn't any error message displayed. Although, I suspect that stupid Swatter from Auctioneer is preventing me from seeing a lot of errors.
To see the errors that Swatter has captured:
/swat show
[MESSAGE]: One moment while gathering dailies from other recipients!
Possible to add a counter to see how many other people are using the mod?

Think I really fixed those LIB errors and a sticky AceComm channel. ;)
The latest version of this file is currently awaiting approval from a file admin. You can download a previous (older) version from the archive.
Doh :(

I resubmitted the upload, don't know why it was empty. My previous upload also had a problem of using my last archived version also. Glitched uploads?

Might be cause i use Prats "addonmsg" module to force all of that stuff to its own "corner"

Gathermate uses the guild addon channel and dosn't share with ppl outside the guild
