I recently installed this addon and I can't get the alarms to set. I type in the time for Alarm 1 in 24hr numbers (say for 7pm = 19). I go to set mins, move back to confirm my hours, and it has cleared. Mouse'ing over shows the alarm enabled, but the time being 0:00.
It's Rock framework instead of Ace2 if I saw correctly.
No, ChimeClockFu does not use Rock, its Ace2 like AlarmClockFu.
And like Wiltock mentioned, the code looks very similar to AlarmClockFu. Going through the code with a diff utility, a (very) few minor changes besides line renaming of "AlarmClockFu" to "ChimeClockFu". The biggest one (which isn't that big): the addition of a "chime"...heh.
A real shame the SVN comitter (Steste) gives no credit anywhere in either the code or SVN notes to either the original author Wanthony or Wiltock, who made some updates after the last AlarmClockFu release (see post above). Because all ChimeClockFu is is a renamed, partially hacked version of AlarmClockFu.
I'm Anthony White, the original AlarmClockFu author, and I'd just like to put my .02 in here. I just picked up work on the AddOn again after a hiatus (I apologize for the break). I can see why this person would have picked up work on my addon since I had not updated in so long, but to do so without any notification to me is sort of unsettling. Anyways, no harm no foul I suppose.
I just got through rewriting AlarmClockFu using the new Rock framework, and it is now (as of last night) available on the WowAce SVN. I will be maintaining the plugin until it can be deemed feature complete, or there is no longer a need for it.
By reading through this post, it seems as if I've included all the features most wanted in AlarmClockFu since it's last update, in it's current version. The AddOn is still available at curse.com, and the latest version was uploaded just a few days ago.
I'll repost this in the actual AlarmClockFu thread to get the word out that I'm now active in this community, and that I am going to be maintaining AlarmClockFu.
