I use RockConfig and the Rock versions of the addons. I used Niagara before. I also miss a dewdrop here and there to do some quick things like locking/unlocking, etc, but I've also been staying educated about this and know that it's just a matter of time. As Ydrisselle mentioned, Dewdrop or similar just needs to be written for the Rock framework. ck's added features to RockConfig to make it more pleasing, in addition to things that were already there.
I understand that some people may not like change, but you must bend like the willow or snap like the oak. And you also must be patient.
Whatever this Rock is - the interface is ugly, not intuitive to say the least, it blocks your view upon the things you want to configure (positions on the screen f.e.) and I liked the old one better ... whatever. I'll bear with it. It just would be nice to give users a choice ...
But: since I updated to the new Fubar and Cartographer, Gladiator and Proximo won't remember the position of their frames on the screen anymore ... whenever I log put and in again, they are sitting in their default corners UNDER the Fubar and I can't even move them. I can't configure Right-click-casting behaviour anymore, because this Rock window won't remember my spell. It seems that Rock is not saving the settings but discarding them with lockout.
"are you hitting enter when you set the right click spell?"
No I didn't - hitting Enter is not what you usually do with these kind of menu. You just klick something and in the end you click "Save" - thats it, normally. But in Rock there is no "Save" button - confusion. And nothing says that you have to hit Enter ...
Anyway, hitting Enter seems to solve this part of the problem (didn't try it in Arena yet), thanks for your help.
I just wanted to say, I like the new Rock config screen. I've always found drilling through menus annoying. I use Niagra whenever possible and I'm happy to have the options in Rock use an actual config window.
If I could make one request, it would be for a different implementation of the color options. The bars that show the HSL & RGB values are too narrow and it's hard to make incremental changes. Could we please either have bigger swatch bars or something like the Enhanced Color Picker mod?

I second that request. Time to go hit Jira and make it offical

well my opinion has nothing to do with getting used to the old way whatever it is (i am completely new to fubar). So i downloaded the old interface. I must say it was way better then this rock. Rock is simply the worst programmed user interface i have ever seen and this comes from a programmer who has made some of the best user interfaces and i know some of you use software i have worked on. I have been at this for 20 years and you can't just dump a tree based interface on regular users it always been bad design. User interfaces based on trees are self serving and only serve the original programmer not the users.

This really sucks. Anybody have an idea why?

The positioning problem remains ...
