ability to decide the volumes of food/water to conjure. I dont like default amounts.
The default amounts being as many times as you click the button? Just stop conjuring if you've got all you need or am I missing something?
ok sorry I wasn't clear. The default is, I click button and summon what I have selected for mana gems, 10 level 7 food and a kazillion water. I would like a slider like what you have for the mana gems for food and water as well. I want to be able to choose to summon 3 mana gems, 120 water and 60 food if that is what I choose to do. The defaults are horrible and I end up opening the menus to summon the right amount of food/water that I want to summon. Opening a fubar menu, any fubar menu to do something is equivelant of using spell book to accomplish same goal. By forcing the user to do so I just use something like sprocket to conjure my items cause there is no real benefit to using mageFu over regular blizzard defaults for same task.
I hope this is more clearer. This was a fault I found in the original quanjure as well. Great work here though. Very solid performance.

I actually had a little think about this after making my 1st post and realised I was missing the point. I've made changes to allow this but won't get a chance to test them properly until later. Most likely if all works out I'll make another release late tonight.
Currently how I've set it up is as follows:
Sliders to select max amount of food/water to conjure. If set to 0 it counts as infinite. Max value is 200 on either (is this enough?). Order of conjuration is same as before (ie 1 water, gems, 1 food, water til max, food til max or if conjuring by class alternating food and water based on which you have most of). Does this seem ok?

Yes, very nice. 200 should be sufficient. Thank you very much. See even you thought this was a problem area :P.
I think you must have been using an older version.[...]
Could be, I used the last version available yesterday afternoon, around 5 pm GMT+1. Anyway, now we have revision numbers, which I'll use from now on...
Greetings, Urbs
PS: I re-checked: regarding the TOC I was using: "## Version: 0.3"

Unfortunately that doesn't mean much as I tend to forget to update it >.< I think I set the current version to 0.5. I think I did multiple uploads of 0.3. There wasn't a 0.4 :P I'll be trying to do as many uploads now that it's in the SVN so hopefully I'll keep on top of the version number. However if anyone knows how I can automate I'd appreciate the information :)
Is it just me or does this simply not work well for lower level mages?
I have a 24 level mage and to conjur anything I had to reduce the conjur stones down to 0. It showed I had no water/food even though I did untill I lowered the max rank of food/water down to 3 my max rank at this level. I could only get it to conjur water at that point, until then it just keep making me drink. Still can't get it to conjur food at all.

This is something I haven't been able to test as I don't have a lower level mage. I am however endeavouring to make it work for lower level mages.
The issues I know about currently:
1. FuBar display - always tries to show food/water count according to the max rank that has been set without regard for level. Fix in next release
2. If it can't conjure gems due to level, won't continue on to try food/water. Fix in next release
3. Teleport/portal menus not level dependant. Fix in next release
In regards food currently the conjure option will only conjure food when you have less than 3 in you inventory (prevent going over 1 stack with rank 6 food). The next release I'm adding in options for limits on how much food/water can be conjured which should in most cases be enough to sort the food issue. With the current system, if you want food, set food option for a class, selected a PC of that class and start conjuring.
One thing I don't do is scan the spellbook to ensure the spells are available. I assume once you've reached the level to cast a certain spell you have it. The reason for the max food/water thing is mainly to prevent issues with the final ranks of conjure water/food that need to be obtained from drops/quests. I may add spellbook scanning in future but for now I didn't think it was really worth it, when a small amount of setup time can get round any problems.

this addon has freed up a few hot bars for summon food/water and portal :P tyvm ! i cant wait for this to happen will make me very happy
Goggles, I'll give it another go with your next release. As for scanning the spell book. DON'T use spell-cache that is exatly what it does for you. You can also use babble-spell to take care of any localizations of spell names for you. Since more than likly users will already have those libs loaded due to other ace2 addons you basicly get them for free.

I've been looking at the Babble stuff recently but haven't got round to seeing how hard to implement it is. Thanks on the spell-cache tip :)
EDIT: Is there any SpellCache documentation in the Wiki or elsewhere? Currently I get an error every time I try to search for anything on the Wiki.
Basicly you pass BS the english spell name just like you would use acelocal to localize any other text string and it return the localized version of the spell name. Then pass that off to spellcache and it returns everything you ever wanted to know about the spell that the user has in their spell book.

There are 3 options:
None - don't limit. Will keep conjuring water (and food if targetting a class that has been setup to require food)
Minimum - will conjure until you have at least the amount of food and water set.
Maximum - will conjure until you've got the amount of food and water set. Will not go over the limit.
Fixed 3 issues mentioned in a post above regarding lower level characters.
Alright, I've now switched from Quanjure to MageFu - I've recently been collecting all my little UI tweaks in my own little QuanUtility AddOn, so I moved the Spirit Weapons functionality there, so I could switch to MageFu.
A couple of things bug me about MageFu, but that might just be me:
Teleport/Portals/Hearth in submenus
It's a bit cumbersome to have to go through 4 steps to portal to ironforge - I can type /cast teleport: ironforge faster than navigating the submenus
No indication of location and cooldown for hearthstone
Purely cosmetic I guess :)
Massive menu
Would it be possible to move all the settings and tweaking functionality into an Options submenu, and put all the transportation in the main right click menu instead?
Other than that, I'm loving it so far! Quanjure is off my UI :)

Yes been thinking about the size of the menus. It frustrates me trying to get to the portals and stuff and I wrote the damn thing so I'll definitely be looking into sorting something for next release.
Location/cooldown of hearthstone should be easy to sort too :) (I also intend to get the engineering trinkets in at some point - just haven't got round to sorting it yet)
Currently working on localisation (or more accurately tearing my hair out over Babble-Zone-2.1 not working!) and decent buff tracking.
I've hit a few snags, that you're probably already aware of, but here goes:
With food amount set to 20, and type set to maximum, I never get more than 10 food.
Consumes water off of the biggest stack, which means if you have 10 stacks of water you will end up with 10 stacks of 19, then 18, etc
Error if I don't have any food in my bags and try consuming with <100% hp:
Core.lua:1278 Attempt to index field 'location' (a boolean value)
Menu doesn't close after clicking a transport, slightly annoying. I know DewDrop has a "'closeWhenClicked', true" kind of a thing going on, but I don't know how you are building the menu.

Thanks will add these to my ever growing list of fixes/changes. Still trying to find a night where I'm not needed to raid to get some proper time to fix issues and add the couple of new features I'd like to get in. Should be sometime this week though when I get the next release up.
1. Auto trade doesn't work, or am I missing osmething?
2. And this is crucial, everytime I logout and log back in the MageFu isn't showing on fubar and I have to re-enable it every login. I'm using the latest version.

Superb! Don't think I'll get this into the next release but will endeavour to do so for the 1 after. Thanks again.

Question:
Is there a way to set the number of the traded food/water when using auto trade?
My Priests in Naxx won't come very far with just one stack of Water.
