I'd really appreciate if someone would be willing to port FuBar_TransporterFu to LibDataBroker. At this time, TransporterFu seems abandoned, and it does seem to cause some issues when running through F2B.
CrazyBenny over at CurseForge has created Broker_Portals, which is a partial conversion of TransporterFu, but it only handles mage teleport/portal spells as well as Hearthstones. I've asked him to include other teleportation items and spells (as were supported in TransporterFu), but he said the removal of those is specifically why he's created Broker_Portals.
I've gotten his permission to build a Transporter LDB plugin based on the work he's already done for Broker_Portals, and have begun the conversion, but I honestly don't have a clue what I'm doing, and am in the middle of other (non-WoW related coding) to delve into Lua.
I've compiled a list of all the items that should be supported by the addon (this list is also included as comments in the attached Broker_Transporter.lua):
Ultrasafe Transporter: Toshley's Station (id: 30544)
I've attached the work I've already done (adding druid and shaman teleports, adding the WotLK Dalaran mage teleports, and changing the name of the module and some variables). It seems to work for Druid, Mage, and Shaman teleports, as well as the Hearthstone. I'm stuck with implementing support for the above list of items.
Any assistance would be absolutely wonderful and greatly appreciated.
I was actually looking to convert TransporterFu to Ace3. Maybe I'll see if I can combine this will what I have. Don't expect results too soon, though. Two jobs = not much time.
That'd be great, StormFX. Like I said, I tried looking it over, but without any Lua knowhow, and no time to really learn I'm a bit stuck (not knowing how to add items to the list of spells it already supports).
I know CrazyBenny's added some improvements to Broker_Portal since my original post (including spell icons and such) so you may want to grab whatever the latest version of Broker_Portals from CurseForge before you start any work.
Maybe you can post the project as I attached (assuming you're going to use it as a base) so people can make suggestions? Just an idea.
