Figures that the QuestGuru author uses WowMatrix, since he seems to love WowUI/Incgamers (aka keylogger central) and hate Curse lol.
He seems to be complaining something about curse deleting/removing he's addon without any sort of information about it.
Guess ill have to see if there's some other addons that lets me do what i want form QG, namingly the objective/quest complete sounds (love the peon voice), and routing all quest objective update text to MSBT.

"I am no longer going to update QuestGuru on this site, for updated versions please visit: <url>
Curse.com has become so difficult to work with and buggy that I refuse to deal with it anymore, I'm too busy with other things"
From his description before the project was marked as abandoned.

""QuestGuru is no longer hosted on Curse.com because, without warning or explanation, it was deleted from their site. I never really liked that site anyway and only put QuestGuru there to get it out to more people, but it will not return to Curse.com. Right now, this is the only place to get releases, but I will probably put it up on WoWInterface also""
Is what he states as reason as reply to ppl asking him to put it back on curse.
WoWInsider did a review of the Mac version of the Curse Client. While the review itself was OK, the commenters in that story made me want to "reach out and touch someone".
CC is confused about GatherHud. It thinks that I have v1.1.4 (released 2009/04/20) installed, but that there's a v1.1.4 (released 2009/04/27). If I tell it to update, it thinks I'm out of date again on the next update check.
Here's a couple things I'd like out of the curse client.
First off, WAU had this nifty thing of removing unused saved variables. Really useful, as I like to try addons out for a little bit and then uninstall them.
I see some projects updated on WoWAce but not updated on curse. I did some browsing, and there seems to be a controversy about whether this is author choice or bugged. =/ Regardless, if this is 'working as intended' then fine, but there's some addons that I find being months out of date, and I don't think it's supported anymore, but I find on WoWAce but not on curse. The page for the wowace project and the page for the curse project don't seem to be linked with each other in any way, either. All in all, kind of confusing for the end user. (Do I update from curse, do I update from wowace, why isn't there an installer program to get stuff from wowace, etc.) Example of the one I most recently tried to find an update for is the PeriodicTable3.1 library.
Which is my next point. WAU allowed you to set the libraries as external, both to have more up to date versions than what are packaged with the addons, and to reduce hard drive space among duplicated libraries, and slight performance adjustments as well. Does the curse client have a way of doing that?

It should be generally understood that files on wowace/curseforge are unstable, unless otherwise stated, and the General/Typical End User Should not be use or be conserned with. The zips on curse.com should always be stable and for the masses.
So if your seeing updates on wowace but not curse, that means usualy that the dev is working on it.
The client already has a saved variable cleaner as well as external support :)
One comment about that: I noticed that there's a Tools button/dropdown under each of the "your addons"/"find an addon"/"unidentified addons" tabs, and a separate Tools menu option on the main menu bar. I find myself always going to the wrong Tools menu because of them having the same name.

Tried deleting the stuff in ~/.CurseClient as suggested in another thread I found, the error still persists.
Well the problem seems to have resolved itself now, but here is the log if it helps:
Exceptions.log and master.log are also attached.
Sorry I don't have the logs from before I cleared the folder anymore.
The issue seems to be transient for the majority of the users, however we're still looking to see if we can identify and squash it for good.

Manage games tab, then look under addon settings for the library preference and set that to separate.
