There seem to be two profilers, one by Kaelten and another, which seems more recent, by ckknight. Which one is actually used by the client, to update data for WOWDB, like those data required by the characters feature?
I just checked and it seems to be on top for me. The problem is with the "old school" WoWAce SVN addons, since the changelog is sorted by revision number, and these addons have some very high (and old) ones in there.
But I still think that the changelog isn't really functional yet. The window is too small and it locks up the client when opening one (this can take up to some seconds for the larger mods).
Oh btw, a nice feature would be if the client would automatically open a changelog for all the addons that can be updated (maybe even with just the new changes in there).
It seems the cursed client has just stopped updating mods for me. It does the auto scan but nothing else, I have manually checked and confirmed there are updates to some of the mods but the updater just does not report them. Just noticed it a day or two ago, figured it was strange that nothing was updated for the last few days.

Since December 1 I've had 6 updates, 3 of which happened today. Are you sure you're seeing release updates, or beta updates and you've turned beta updates on in the client?
Also, one or more of the Curse database servers crashed for several hours last night. This affected the ticket system, the packager, and the SVN server, at the least. This may have resulted in some pauses in delivery, but should be corrected now.
Just checked and the "global release settings" is set for release. Not sure what is up, going on, I noticed in the bug tracker others reporting the same issue as well.
Nebunu, not all authors push a new RC every time they make a minor change. So while there might be changes to a project on the *Forge sites, Curse.com / CurseClient isn't going to pick them up untill the author makes a release (unless you specifiy Alpha packaging).
Understood but I do have Alphas checked (i.e. allowed/wanted) but I'm not sure how well that works (I seem to recall reading somewhere in this thread that the CC may not grab Alphas regardless.. at times.. or always.. I don't recall, sorry).
Regardless, addons like Mapster, BigWigs and a couple others have been updated since 11/30/08 (as evidenced by releases to wowinterface.com).
Plus, I find it really impossible to believe that NO addon has had ANY kind of pushed release to *forge.com/curse.com since 11/30/08.. hence something must be wrong.
I mean, it's not a big deal... but I was just wondering if it's a known issue that's being worked on, etc.
On the other hand nebunu, the default behavior of the curseclient is to automagically install updates, so the addons are prolly updated, when you are not watching :D
Understood that no Alphas are pulled (thanks Allara for (re-?)confirming that), sorry.
I know for a fact that my CC hasn't pulled any updates. Plus, when I sort the list of addons available by last updated or whatever, the most recent ones are from "2008/11/30".
Does someone's CC show something different? If so, what could be the cause of this?
It (the CC) shows the progress bar and check the server for addon updates just fine on startup, it seems.

You absolutely need to be signing the your code ASAP - with a code signing cert, or your own CA with a cert from a trusted 3rd party.
At least on MS platforms.

I know what he means. Newest additions spawn at the bottom of the log. Not very practical at all tbh.

In Kaetlen We Trust.
Aware of the issue(s), at least?

As I stated above, it is incorrect to say that NO addons have received updates. I've received several and continue to receive them.
