Win7 x64 Professional. CC is not showing up under list of installed programs, and not in my program folder(s). When I click the exe, it launches the .net installer, does that, then opens the program without actually installing it anywhere. What can I do to actually install it?
You can't afaik, it uses the .NET OneClick install something or other and ends up getting installed into the users profile directory instead of a system directory I think.
Can I rip out .net and reinstall that, and make it work? It's not QUITE worth an OS reinstall, but getting close.
I don't know if you can uninstall .NET in Win7 because it comes pre-installed. If you can, it should be listed in the uninstall program list as usual.
But if the CC started after you clicked the exe, it should be installed. You won't find it easily (it's somewhere in your user directory), but you should have a desktop and/or start menu shortcut.
Also, .NET ClickOnce programs can be uninstalled (Screenshot).
CC3 didn't use .NET as far as I know. So we are all talking about CC4 here.
