But I can access the actual addon page on WoWinterface just fine.
IIRC, WowInterface recently implemented the need to be logged into the site in order to download anything, this i believe is to counteract wowmatrix. So, it'll prolly be busted for a while.

I'll probably add an option to login to WoWI, then :) after all, WoWMatrix is a bit more "evil" than WUU :P
Right now, WoWI works without login for me, at least :)
I noticed that WoWI was checking HTTP referer and forcing requests with no referer to login to access the normal addon pages. It appears this functionality has been disabled now.
Do you have any plans to update WUU to work with the new wowace structure? You'll have to write in a login function since downloads are only available to logged in users.
WOWInterface does and does not work. Here's how it works on the OSX client.
If I update each addon individually it works. If I select multiple addons and update it works for the first one only. Then I have to shut down WUU and reopen it and select the rest of the addons individually.
Fx. the 3 addons
X
Y
Z
I select all of them and select update. X updates - the rest doesn't. Then I try updating Y individually - it does not work. Then I close and relaunch WUU and update Y individually and it works. That's what I've found for now. Why it's like that beats me :)
I guess that is because wowinterface.com is blocking requests when they come too fast... if you try to open multiple wowinterface.com pages in Firefox you get "Request block, This is to stop flooding of our server." on most of them.
Any plans for a feature that can purge the download locations? I want to remove every wowace reference and change it to Curse, but manually do it sucks. =D

I thought so too so I tried updating 2 addons to see what happened. Same error as I suggested before. I then waited a few minutes and tried the 2nd one that failed again. It still did not work. I then closed WUU and retried. Now it could update the 2nd addon. I then immediately reupaded the 1st addon just to check if I could be flooding the server and it updated also.

Sort the list by site
Select all the WoWAce addons (click first, then shift-click the last)
Right-click, and select "Change Site", set them to [Unknown]
would you consider adding a curse.com search feature?
I have a very simple one written in python using urllib2. If you would be willing to add it, I could add some UI for it in WUU and send you a diff. I started writing it after 3.0.2 when I had to search curse for the addons I used and then copy paste the ID out of the url. Or if you want I could just send you the scraper code.

Sure, I'll add whatever makes sense :) (Preferrably finished code, of course ;))
Bug fix: Crash on some HTTP errors blocked all updating
This should get things somewhat back on track. Same deal as last time; OSX should auto-update. (It's just hell of a lot more convenient to do these mini-releases right now, I'll do a full release when things settle down)
Sorry, but AuctioneerAddon still fails.

I made the addon "unknown" and then identified it, it failed, then I changed it to "AuctioneerAdvanced" and tried it again, still failed.
Not complaining, just letting you know what I see.
Additional Reading and I fixed it for myself:
open "\Documents and Settings\xxxxx\WUU\site_re.txt and fix the line
auct_version2 href="\?dl=Packages/(%s-([0-9a-zA-Z\.]+?\.zip))">.+?(\d{4})-(\d{2})-(\d{2})
to

exit WUU and reload, it gets todays update just fine

Re: Auctioneer, they recently retired the classic Auctioneer. It looks like what we knew as AuctioneerAdvanced has been renamed to Auctioneer. Could this be the source of the problem?
I was also unable to update Auctioneer. What I did to fix it was edit the Auc-Advanced entry and change the SiteID to "AuctioneerSuite". Now it works fine.

Please Dear God No. End Users should not be downloading from wowace.com or curseforge.com. End Users need to be using curse.com.
Unless you are beta testing you have no real need to be downloading beta or alphas.
I agree :) I just hope authors will be better at releasing the "good" versions from now on, so updating from alpha/beta won't be necessary ;)
What about an esoteric option for beta testers/power users? ;)

Hm, strange: http://wuu.vagabonds.info/site_re.txt has that change, and should have been retrieved by all clients :(

It does work now, but before it wasn't working at all.
