Is anyone able to successfully run the WUU on OS X 10.4? I'm having python difficulties. Some posts seemed to indicate that this is expected, but they were not specific.
Just wondering if anyone had has success with this combination.
This fixes the Curse problem (including adding support for "Install from URL"), and removes a lot of WoWAce stuff (so that identifying Unknown addons actually works)
I haven't got access to the Mac now, so this is a Windows/source build only (the Mac version uses the source package to autoupdate, so downloading 1.8.595 and letting it self-update should be sufficient)

I don't seem to be able to run the latest build under Vista 32bit. I got the dialog offering the update and now when I try to run WUU, nothing happens. I don't even see a process in my task manager anymore.

After the dialog for update, usually Windows asks for your permission to proceed. But sometimes the popup doesn't show on screen, don't know why/ Check if there's something on the tray. It usually works here.

Hey man since Echoes of Doom just came out all my addons, were out of date. I went to open up WUU and it alerted me of a new download, I downloaded and installed via the updater. Tried to open WUU and got no GUI but the process showed as running and then immediately closing. I redownloaded both (beta and stable) versions from the site, installed in public and private folders, and even on seperate discs. I then tried all methods again but updating to both versions from the updater. Still the process just starts and ends. Could you please help me out? I'd really like to use my addons with 3.0!
PS I'm using Vista Home Premium.
PS2 Whoah all of a sudden the beta opened up. I don't think Cursed works though amirite?

If you're having problems, there's a log file in %USERPROFILE%\WUU (and also the settings.wurm.xml, which can be deleted to reset to default settings)
Curse should work, at least it does for me right now :P (I deleted all my addons and started from scratch, though - I had over 350, mostly for testing)
Argh, not a earth shattering thing, but Auctioneer is being obnoxious now. They apparently "discontinued" the "auctioneeradvancedsuite" in favor of the auctioneersuite.
Or something like that. Anyway, it just looks silly at me no matter what I try.
They made some changes to the download URL, so pretty much just need to correct them in WUU. :P In site_re.txt there's a line with "auct_version2" change "?dl=Packages/" to "?dl=Packages3/". There's also an occurence in Wurm.py, just change to Packages3 as well. Oh, and since Auctioneer Advanced Suite is discontinued for "Auctioneer Suite", change the site ID to "AuctioneerSuite".

Hi,
i just found site_re.txt and the site id - but where is the Wurm.py.
May be i should say it's Windows Version 1.8.596!

Bug fix: Crash on some HTTP errors blocked all updating
This should get things somewhat back on track. Same deal as last time; OSX should auto-update. (It's just hell of a lot more convenient to do these mini-releases right now, I'll do a full release when things settle down)
Just wondering if anyone had has success with this combination.
Thanks!
Actually, the problem is that curse have a hidden HTML element above the version list containing some version of Baggins, which WUU gets stuck on :|
WUU 1.8.596 win32
WUU 1.8.596 source/linux
MD5 sums:
(old mac files:
WUU 1.8.595 osx
WUU 1.8.595 osx light version
)

On 10.4, you might have to install http://wuu.vagabonds.info/files/rel-1.6/WUU-1.6.446.dmg (the last one I built on Tiger), and then letting WUU auto-update to the latest version.
That worked very well, thank you.
Imagine, programs running when properly linked, madness I say :p

They disabled everything unless you're logged in, so, yeah :P

WUU 1.8.598 win32
WUU 1.8.598 source/linux
1.8.598 (2008.10.16):
Ok now my question:
Is there any way to implement this to the OtherSite System? I didn't find any way - but i'm new with WUU.
