files.wowace.com and oldsvn.wowace.com are now museums of the way wowace was before being brought under the CurseForge/Curse/WoWDB umbrella. Authors can no longer post updates using the old system, so you'll no longer see updates in those places.
Thank you for the quick and to-the-point explanation.
So the next obvious question is, is there a new page that has the same info as before, or do I just have to look at the Files section for each project at http://www.wowace.com/projects/ ?
Releases will be on Curse. Alphas/Betas will be on the projects pages. So, if you're just a user that wants release quality addons, use Curse. If you're a beta-tester/power-user/author, use wowace.
For now, I am sticking to using SVN (or git) to update my addons, all 156 of them. Lots of clicking, but it works. Can't find Roster 2.1, or some of the alpha's form pre-changes, but oh well.
I like hidden features :P Sadly, I did uninstall WAU after it crashed on me constantly or used 100% CPU. But I could try JWU ;)
Use my "solution" to the 100% CPU problem...task manager then set the priority to below normal. You have to do it every time you run WAU, but it works for the whole session. It still runs at "100% CPU" but doesn't drag your system down and is more responsive.
I'm unsure of JWoWUpdater has this feature...I use it, but never looked
BTW: Easter Eggs FTW!
:)

I update my addons manually, and browse/sort through them by going to http://files.wowace.com.
Will this page cease to exist? Will I stilll be able to use that and see new / updated addons?
Thank you in advance.
It will not exist and no further updates are committed there. All the wowace files will now be available through curse.

Or, should I be looking for my files on Curse?
Thanks again...
