How can I update just the STABLE releases with WAU?
Thank you!

"Build 731:
1) Reference implementation of the "STABLE" flag. Does nothing other than display things slightly different if the addon is marked "Stable" in the rss feed. I don't think any are."
There's a command line way to do it... mk dir whatever... If you search the forums for it, you'll find it. Or just take the svn folder out of another addon that has one - the Sorren's Timers 2.4 version on wowinterface has an .svn folder in it.
My friend had never updated from the 1.9.3 version, and I've been trying to help sort it for him. I uninstalled the old version and got the new, but kept getting the "Ready...(Data is not cached old)" problem. Deleting the temp files only meant that a "Error retrieving add-on list" message appeared instead. I've tried uninstalling it and re-installing it several times, spamming F5, but it keeps reloading with one of those two messages.
The usual error messages come out as:
Auto-retry of addon list load
Error During Download: System.Net.WebException: Unable to connect to the remote server ---> System.Net.Sockets.SocketException: A socket operation was attempted to an unreachable host 69.72.129.35:80

The key used to sign the application has been changed. So the application which the self-update finds will not have the correct signature, and will generate an error 30 seconds after running WAU, when WAU is not busy doing anything else
To fix this you MUST uninstall 1.9.43 from the control panel
I have tried and tried to fix this. But I can't uninstall it even EVERY TIME I go to control panel and attempt to uninstall I am getting the same message as when I d/led the original installation. "dfsvc.exe has encountered an error and must close". I get the same error no matter what I attempt to do. Any ideas? I used to really like this updater I am absolutely beginning to hate it now.
Since last patch WAU is not working anymore (version 1.9.46.738).
When I launch it, it displays some lines I have never seen before (see picture), and when he starts checking the server version, I get a system error window:
Why is it that when I ran Disembedded and ran the updater it would give me changelog notes, but running embedded gives me hardly anything?I ran it this morning and out of a list of 16 I only saw the changelog for 2.

I am getting the same error. I updated some addons this morning, but when I just went to try and get some additional Cartographer stuff, it just keeps crashing while checking the server.
WAU is crashing a minute or so after startup with the error that British posted. It appears that it may be choking on an ad that it's trying to load, since I never see an ad come up. The program seems to still function normally after the crash window appears.
i reinstalled wau to the newest version (released today i think). No crashes... but the following:
but how can it be that a new version is available here http://www.wowace.com/wau/publish.htm, although you are not developing it anymore Oo Bit confused ;)

Thanks, that makes sense.

I think this MAY have to do with having updated Adobe Flash Player. My WAU worked fine prior to the update of Flash......
