I have two different WoW installations on my machine, both under the same user. Any idea how I can setup seperated WAU for this setup? Need it, because one is my normal raid installation with current interfac,e and the other one is my experimental WoW install for my new interface and I need to update them seperatly.
Well, thats what I tried to avoid. With the old WAu it was possible (two WAUs with different configs), any possibility to get this behaviour back? To switch manualy is not really effective. Or maybe I can work a little bit with commandline arguments? Any idea if this is possible or can be integrated like -i:"x:\Wow1" and -i:"x:\Wow2"?
Or you can use your OS to symlink the Interface\Addons Directories (WTF too maybe) so they both refer to the same location - that's another option.
You can use file mirroring as well. I believe the command line utility robocopy.exe which comes with vista supports this. xcopy works too. The plus side of course is you dont need to use server bandwidth to download the same addons to 2 locations on your PC.
There are a variety of ways for you to accomplish this which dont require having 2 WAU setups.
Oh vista has the sync center control panel too - perhaps you can use that.
