I notice that several of my addons tend to switch around the libraries they use or some libraries get updated under a new name. This is starting to clutter up my addon directory and I'm not sure which libraries I can get rid off. Is there a way (perhaps in one of the updater programs already) to find out which libraries I can safely get rid off? I've got nearly 300 addons (many of these are modules/libraries) and it's starting to show in system performance.
Also another question, is running WAU and WUU next to eachother bad practice? I notice both find updates the other didn't find yet, and WUU updates my last few non-ace addons.
True, this question has been answered several times, including within the official WAU thread.
second, use "delete before updating" option in Wau.
but this is not the correct answer.
1. Click on the "Installed" tab
2. In the category filter drop-down, select "Library"
3. Uninstall all libraries
4. Reinstall all addons (make sure you have Automatic Dependency Download enabled)
Delete before updating works fine in either WAU or WUU for removing unused libraries if you use embedding. Unless the authors fail to update their embeds, in which case, they need to be slapped with a fish.

That is the key there. The OP is not using embedded libs.

third, set all wowace addons as ignored in WUU :)
