I've searched for a solution to this issue all day today and cannot find any answers, so attached is a text file containing the details of the error I'm getting when I try to install WAU 1.9.44. I've tried installed from the publish site, and with the zip file. Both ways give the same error.
"Cannot Start Application
Cannot continue. The application is improperly formatted. Contact the application vendor for assistance."
Also I have cleared my clickonce cache and reset winsock, but still get this error.
Side note: I installed it on my PC just fine (XP pro machine) I'm trying to install this on my laptop however
I tried with the zip and with the website multiple times, tried clearing the clickonce cache and resetting winsock. My laptop is running Media Center Edition... but that's just XP pro with extra entertainment software... umm... I've uninstalled .Net 2.0 and let the website install it again... not sure what else to try here.
