Is it just me that can't get certain things to work in WAU, unless I'm in a certain view? e.g. can't view changelog of an addon unless I'm in standard or installed view, actually i'm not sure anymore. Same goes for uninstalling an addon which doesn't seem to work in some of the views.

There are loads of bugs like that in the current build, i have been fighting with the listview control implementation.
the latest version of WAU (1.9.42.533) just updated my SVN addons to the latest revision, deleting the changes i'd made since the last commit.
Yes, my fault for not using the recycle bin... but i'm guessing it wasnt supposed to do that? It never did it before, at least.
Post a log, that's the only way I can help
my apologies, somehow, skip SVN was set to false... either it was always set to false but wau never actually updated it before, or i managed to change it by accident. Either way, ticked the box again, and it skipped it sure enough.
You dont. You just update as normal. You dont have to manually force the index to be refreshed unless you absolutely must view the addons which have changed before you update them. It is optimized for the "Run -> Update -> Exit" workflow. If it werent when you ran the program it would make you wait while it updated the indexes, ie Run->Get Indexes->Update->Exit.
Nothing has changed since this was added back in January. It works exactly the same, i added the index age so you would be able to tell how current the 'detail information' is - The index is updated along with the addons in one operation <- feature.
.533: I can't uninstall an addOn. I select it and choose Uninstall Marked Addons from the File menu, WAU asks me for confirmation, I click Yes, then it just hangs. All the view tabs are greyed out as well as all the options except for File > Reinstall & Exit and Help. I can't attach a log because one is not created.

I got ya. Sorry. I don't know if you know this or not, but it's still having issues with saving the positions of the draggable tool bars. Though the new UI features are wonderful! :)

Yeah. I guess thats a bug. I just fixed it. But you could still uninstall stuff by right-click menu...anyways its fixed.

- launch WAU
- make sure standard view tab is active (if it wasn't when you launched, or you click any other tabs, you will invalidate these test steps)
- wait for list of addons to appear
- select file->update all installed addons
- WAU will stop redrawing the standard view and will not perform the user-requested update. on the installed tab, all addons are checked.
Also, it keeps reinstalling addons that I previously had it uninstall, such as SCT and friends. Uninstalling manually seems to be the only way to keep them gone.
No log is generated since it doesn't run an update when I tell it to. I'll see what I can dig up though. Is there any debug logging I can access somewhere?

Possibly...

I would assume because it's not refreshing on its own. :P
How is it a feature if, after a week of having not updated, I have to manually force the Reload of the Index? :P

The toolbars stay put usually, so im not sure what issues you have. They will revert to defaults sometimes when updating or if i add new stuff.

I have the same Problem.
tho, when it failed update, it gave the option to "skip", and use the old version anyway.
