i just updated to 1.7b4 and I'm getting the "xxxx - Has no public versions - Skipping" message on a lot of installed addons that are available form the http://files.wowace.com/ for manual download.

Is this a bug?

Did this and still get the message "Has no public versions - Skipping" on a few of the addons that are in the ace files list.

Okay summarize:

The "No Public Version" Message is no Bug! It occurs because of the recent changes to the svn server and WAU hasn't been updated for public so far.

The change was i think 2 days ago, so searching for earlier topics or posts don't solve the problem.

Staying tuned, waiting for Beta 5 to be released and update Addons by downloading them manual is the only thing we can do.

I just scaled back one of the updates to the latest.txt files so that wau will work correctly again. I tested it with wau 1.7b4 and there was no issues.

Is there a way to keep cartographer an all-in-one package and not have it extract the various modules into their own folders? I can't seem to find a way to disable this..

I believe you can create a Cartographer.nounpack folder to do this. See the "Packages" section of the WAU website for details: http://www.wowace.com/wiki/WinAceUpdater

Does WAU work with Vista (64 bit flavour)?

Since sourceforge doesn't seem like it's going to get an update with beta5 anytime soon, do you mind posting it somewhere else, or for that matter letting me have a copy and I'll post it on a webserver?
