It appears that SendAddonMessage() and/or the associated CHAT_MSG_ADDON event no longer work as before in 4.1. The message seems to be sent, but is never received. Does anyone know what's going on with this?

Curiously, the WHISPER messages are all being blocked, but the GUILD messages are all coming through fine without being registered.

Not quite sure about that. I discovered that I am able to see my own addon messages regardless of channel. But others are not able to see my messages unless I "/console reloadui" So it would appear that this bug occurs at log on.
They claim to have hotfixed this, but as of last night (5/5/2011) it still wasn't working.

Curse PremiumAceComm has been fixed in r1019 (March 27th). It has probably spread already.
