There is no explanation anywhere as to what this message means. The wording implies that I forgot to upload the project file. Derp, derp I thought lol. So I went to upload the file and was told I had already uploaded the file.
I am aware of the trick where after creating/updating your AddOn you must go back and change the project status from "planning" to "release". I checked that too.
Also I must have uploaded a screenshot. Did that.
Also must have stripped out invisible OS files put there by my Mac. Did that too.
Must have a TOC file. Yup, did that too.
Must have added a pseudo entry into the change log, even though it is an initial release. Did that too.
I am not a novice as I have uploaded several AddOn before this and even updated a couple of AddOns successfully after I had uploaded this one.
Can someone please help me as to where I went wrong this time, lol.
Your project page and file look fine to me. Are you still seeing a problem?
Generally "waiting for project" means that your entire project was created very recently, and is still waiting to be approved. Projects and files go through separate approval queues -- your project has to be approved first, and then each file you upload has to be approved. If there is a problem with the approval, you'll get a PM telling you what the problem is; if it says "waiting", then that's exactly what it means. Curse seems to be chronically understaffed, and it is a weekend.
On a side note:
- Please don't use color codes in your addon description. Depending on the site theme someone has chosen to use, your light blue headings may be unreadable.
- You shouldn't put a version number in your addon's title or URL slug. The current version may be v1.00, but when you upload v1.75, your URL is still going to say v1.00. Technically these aren't changable, but if you contact a moderator (use the tiny red triangle icon in the bottom right corner of your project page to "report" your project) and explain the mistake they can fix it for you.
